Royal Caribbean also led the way last year, soaring 162% in a year that found all three stocks coasting well ahead of Wall Street averages. Can Royal Caribbean double again in 2024?

3 Reasons Royal Caribbean Stock Can Double Again in 2024

1. The cruise line industry is sailing along nicely
2. Following the beat
3. Analysts keep trying to catch up

They are certainly increasing the money extraction from punters when onboard. Meals at 125dollars well overbooked. Shows, not the theatre shows, at extra cost and packed. Everyone on stupidly high priced drinks packages, stupid tour prices always fully booked - seems that taking money off cruisers is very easy.Met a few gamblers who cruise non stop for nothing, but they have to keep betting to keep the perk. All claim to win overall in the casino! A bit like advfn traders. They subsidies my cruises.

I think they are not interested in the group of people that are used to cruising, more interested in the new cruisers, no frills, more booze packed in like sardines, parting with their money

Well chaps! The chart is starting to look really good. Could we go through the 14.00 barrier, if we do then we have a serious breakout.
In the last nine months we have had three 14 night plus cruises with P & O its a shame that food standards, both quality and presentation have been allowed to slip so low.

Carnival Corp Stock Be Worth Over Double Its Present Price More Based on Its Huge FCF

For one, we can project its adj. FCF over the next 12 months (NTM). For example, analysts now project revenue will hit $24.55 billion for the year ending Nov. 2024. And for next year, the estimate is 5.5% higher at $25.91 billion.

That implies its NTM run rate revenue will be $25.23 billion over the next 12 months. Therefore, if Carnival keeps making 22.5% of its revenue in adjusted FCF, it could end up making $5.677 billion in adj. FCF over the next 12 months.

Dividends Possible from FCF

That is more than enough to cover its upcoming principal debt payments. For example, the company said that as of May 31, 2024, its outstanding debt maturities for the remainder of the year, 2025, and 2026 were $1.2 billion, $1.7 billion, and $2.8 billion.

In other words, there will be more than enough FCF to begin making dividend payments like it used to in 2020. So far, the company has not said it will do so. But, if it announces this at the end of this fiscal year, expect to see CCL stock skyrocket.

Time to sell off some of the older inefficient ships whilst they still have a reasonable value. Chip away at that long term debt!

Standard & Poor’s upgraded Carnival’s debt rating to BB after the results, leaving it now just two notches away from investment grade. Carnival has prioritized reducing its debt over expanding its fleet, paying off $6.6 billion in the past 15 months while its new-build order book fell to its lowest in decades.

Once again, proves the big ships are a licence to print money.I think maybe the cost cutting has gone a bit too far. No fruit teas, less choice in menus, no dancing yet advertised, ents really mixed, some first class others had most walk out ( a so called comedian who was embarrassingly bad - he even rugby tackled his stage victim who tried running out of the theatre). Food also very mixed, raw chicken served one day, very dangerous on a ship. Amazingly to me, the MDR menu usually features sausages in some guise. FFS!.A low 7/10, but still good enough for me to buy some more fcds.
