31/7/2024 19:45 | It's all in the public domain Jan. No Uk shorts means that price support will be challenged but the rebound should be violent when it comes. Yes Smurfy I agree it should be a banger but this pullback has got legs. People still scarred from the pandemic. A good time to build a decent position. Price action not looking great in the US. | indiestu
31/7/2024 19:23 | The swings probably scare retail traders out of their stock. I'm holding on tight as next quarter is going to be a banger. | smurfy2001
31/7/2024 17:07 | And how do you know about the UK short positions. The price is doing the same as it has done for over 2 years. Driven up at the end of each quarter and then down again. | jan-mar
31/7/2024 15:41 | All significant shorts have been closed in the UK. There is still 10% short in the US. I'm not sure the drop is due to traders. The entire travel and leisure sector is down. The narrative is that the consumer is feeling the squeeze. Anyhow. Buying opportunity here. | indiestu
26/7/2024 15:36 | They are called traders | jan-mar

25/7/2024 15:11 | It's going to do a RCL at some point but l agree it's a traders chip right now. Need to breakout of 1380 to move to the next phase of recovery, | smurfy2001
25/7/2024 15:02 | It is the same price as it was in early 2022, it's been a traders share and still is | jan-mar
25/7/2024 14:55 | I think CCL will finally make some inroads next quarter. It's gone nowhere this year. | smurfy2001
25/7/2024 14:42 | If you time it right and catch the bottom before the move up for 3rd quarter results you'll make some money | jan-mar
25/7/2024 14:40 | Thus will knock a few long traders out | jan-mar
25/7/2024 14:36 | tiobs, It's incredible the price rises recently. Even the cheapo msc have gone as expensive as the rest - used to be able to rely on those for a 60 quid per day balcony, not any more. I really thought if labour got in cruises would be toast - seems the opposite is happening. Everyone's spending cash while they've got some! | pierre oreilly
25/7/2024 14:31 | All change for shareholder obc, just as someone else said last week. Just applied for my obc, and you need to download Stockperks app, register, and apply throught that. It's on line to many brokers (so it says), so they get proof of holding. Except my broker idealing isn't recognised. So the altenative is to download proof somehow - photos of statements etc, including your name. Idealing doesn't have a page with both name and holding on, so I've sunbmitted a couple of photos which I hope is proof enough. Should find out within 2 weeks. | pierre oreilly
25/7/2024 14:25 | Pierre, you are right, cruise prices have been all over the place for the past three months. We've re-visited a couple of itineraries recently that we fancy for September. They appear to have gone up by about £300-£500 person, that's P&O and Marella! | tlobs2
25/7/2024 14:24 | Same for me, not sure what's happening but a 1k topup at 12.27 | pierre oreilly
25/7/2024 14:17 | Go on then I'll have another go at 1225p;-) | tlobs2

25/7/2024 09:52 | Having been watching cruise prices closely this last 3 weeks, I can confirm they have just taken a step up. We just booked 14nights on brittania for 1350 quid, was 1049two weeks ago. I wouldn't have booked it but the Mrs really wanted to go, and I like the fact it goes through the keil canal. All prices are up lots, and not much availability. Our QA cruise is now a grand more than we paid a few months ago. CCL are raking it in. If their ships are at anything greater than 90% capacity at a 50% price increase then we can look forward to mega profits, and hopefully a return to divis, pretty soon. CCL are ordering several new ships for their various brands generally bigger and 'greener'. They need to get some orders in for hybrid ships, so they can go all electric in places like the fjords where those regs are coming in. | pierre oreilly
24/7/2024 18:02 | J.P. Morgan analyst Matthew Boss maintains $Carnival (CCL.US)$ with a buy rating, and adjusts the target price from $23 to $25. | smurfy2001
23/7/2024 15:05 | CCL is a great share to trade with some to hold (for the perks) :-) | tlobs2 |
