These levels? My first trade here was at 35 (down) & at some point it will be back there...Bookings up despite higher pricing & debt jumping down monthly

You did the right thing selling your trading stock, as with the last quarter, this will now drift down on my humble opinion

Thats's quite a beat on consensus EPS. Glad l kept my core holding, now at 75% profit. I guess my 1400p wasn't a bad call, it could happen.

This bit is great reading.

The company made debt payments of $6 billion, reducing its debt balance by
$4.6 billion from its peak in the first quarter of 2023 and ended the year with
$5.4 billion of liquidity.

Yuck, can't think of anything more horrid than going on a cruise.
Happy to trade the stock though.

I am a loyal P&O passenger. Azura, Aurora, and Arcadia. When it becomes larger vessels, only I may change my mind. We have always had fantastic experiences on our chosen cruises.JW

Thanks, that’s disappointing - didn’t like Ventura a few years ago and not for any the more recent changes you highlight. I found the MDR on Arvia disappointing due to clientele and food choice/quality. Funny thing is when started 8-10 years ago, all we ever heard was how cruising was going down hill. Aurora is still 90% 75 year olds and no riff raff. On Infinity in a fortnight - see how that goes. Celebrity currently doing all inclusive drinks and wifi for package 39pppd - its normally over 100pppd to make all inclusive holidays look good value to Americans, meaning Europeans rarely get the chance for these deals.

Quick summary for anyone interested.More selfish people. A few times they stand in the lift at the front trying to stop you getting in. Effin stupid. Also hog washing machines with suitcases full 0lof washing. Wtf?Less mobility scooters and we found p&o are limiting numbers due to the staff involved in an emergency.Lots of dancing, all 15/30 dancers from absolute beginners to as good as you get really funny positive people, 50/50 people we already knew and new to the group. Great instructors - a big reason why we go so a 10/10 cruise for us.Food has had cutbacks. Less choice, fewer special type meals, tiny portions of the main element so I often had double with no probs. Kept away from the buffet mainly. Midnight offering last night was served due to a high number of people pinching stuff to take home!Shows goodish. All in all still great value but getting meanish and clientele going down market, as is their plan I expect to keep the boats full

Are you on holiday on the Ventura or working as a mind reader, at 09.15 on 13th you said I called you a liar, I asked you to point out where I called you a liar at 20.34 on the 13th I replied and used the statement "I find it hard to believe" when you replied to this at 9.32 on the 14th so I can only assume as you have not made any comment as to where I have called you a liar apart from the I find it hard to believe statement which was nearly 12 hours after you said I called you a liar so you must have known what I was going to say before I said it.
Stop loss upped now to £ 12.67 so 50 more free shares plus small profit if it drops back.

35quid WH? That must have been some days or weeks after COVID appeared as a thread. I'm certain I sold all mine (not short) at more but no access to my records ATM. That was a signal and the kind of thing I sell on, which happens rarely. Obviously, the divis would be gone for a few years.Been buying back in small lots for a while (18m?) and probably now bought back almost the number I sold.It was a Slater fallen angle, a big company with big company infrastructure temporarily hitting hard times.Such shares can rise and rise for years. Taking 2% or whatever is trader domain, taking 500% and probably reinstated divis over a longer timescale is the way to do it imo.So it's the time to buy not sell. And that applies whether it rises or falls 5% in the short term. Difficult for most here to grasp probably. 'Just buy 5% lower' most will be saying I expect.

Added @ 12.50 & 13Targets look 20 quid too low to meThe cruise itineraries for 24 & 25 look sensational, heavy bookings seem unstoppable and fuel at more decent levels Was short this from 35, back in Covid day, and cannot see any reason why it will not get back there, given time
