17/11/2023 16:17 | Will be interesting to see if it gets to 13.80 again at results time | jan-mar
17/11/2023 16:15 | Graham, I'm hoping for a Divi medium term, not necessarily expecting one. Depends how the directors think. I think it would be a good signal to the future. | pierre oreilly
17/11/2023 15:43 | Good call trade some up and down reduce your entry price every time. On its way up again about the same time as last quarter. | jan-mar
17/11/2023 15:34 | You beat me to that comment on Pierre's anticipation of dividends. Despite ever increasing cashflow, it'll take a long time to sort out their covid-induced debt. | grahamburn
17/11/2023 15:08 | I'm not trading or holding this share and haven't done for 6 months. I doubt you will see any dividends being paid any time soon. | jan-mar
17/11/2023 13:47 | Pierre Oreilly, dividends won't happen until they reach investment grade status. To reach that they need to pay down debt, which will take years. jan-mar, my reduce price, will always retain a core holding. | smurfy2001
17/11/2023 13:35 | The small claims is very little risk, with costs limited. It's been decades since I've sued anyone, but each time I did I won. 2 by default, because companies like B&Q simply don't turn up, the other 2 paid up before the hearing. Since those days I understand it's all done online, which makes it easier. My loss I think is about directly 500 dollars, but, as everyone says, it's not all about the money. It's about being treated unfairly and not sticking to agreements. The only issue is if I can be tossed to fill in the forms to start the case. | pierre oreilly
17/11/2023 13:11 | How much money are you missing out on? Suing them is a risky option as they have deeper pockets than you. | kirtonender9
17/11/2023 12:50 | Btw, my complaint about their refusal to honour my future cruise deposit and shareholder benefit on the QM2 cruise I've booked has not been upheld. So I'm considering suing Carnival over Cunard's misleading statement that they exceed expectations, when, iny case, they haven't even met reasonable expectations.Once on board, Cunard have exceptional service, but the land based senior management seem to have no idea. | pierre oreilly
17/11/2023 12:43 | It may not reach 1400 in your timescales (hours, causing you to miss out on the big profits), but it will get there, and beat record highs, in investor timescales (years, for those who want decent profits).I'm hoping for the resumption of divis soonish, as a statement of their confidence in the future, irrespective of their debt (which is easily serviceable imv). | pierre oreilly
17/11/2023 12:33 | Is that your sell price or wishful thinking or both | jan-mar
17/11/2023 09:56 | 1400p target. | smurfy2001
16/11/2023 09:19 | The crew (non officers) outnumber the Officers by a wide margin.Even on a Cargo ship it is abt 1 officer for 2 crew - well it was when I was at sea. | kirtonender9
15/11/2023 18:54 | I'm sure £12.60 area is the next target whist it's bullish. | kasamavic
15/11/2023 17:52 | You called it right, well done | jan-mar
15/11/2023 12:28 | Thank!! I used to be a pub pianist but my days of working on ships has long gone. (I used to be a Radio Officer in the Merchant Navy 74-89) | kirtonender9
15/11/2023 10:57 | You could get a job as a ship's pianist! | pierre oreilly

14/11/2023 20:25 | If you are prepared to pay for the Al a carte food which those in suites get for free then perhaps you may get King Crabs. There are 2 restaurants (non suiters) of which one is a set sitting the other you can go anytime. The steak I had was superb. There is entertainment (like most cruiseships), but had daily news of the previous Port Visits plus what to do in the next Port. However we were treated to a singing performance by one of the waiters one evening. He was superb. His rendition of Hallelujah was fantastic - just his voice. The acoustics in the Observation Lounge were superb. Excursions are expensive. There were a lot of passengers from Australia and New Zealand. The crew from Norway work 24 days on 24 days off. I have already uploaded some short videos on to my YouTube channel, this will continue and will edit long format in due course. | kirtonender9
14/11/2023 17:55 | Missed all the fun, been booking another cruise for the last couple of hours - what a shambles. Anyhow, finally ended up with the best value queen Anne we could find - 2 weeks, balcony, £1100pp, the usual Spain and Portugal in a years time. Great price. Doing my bit - that make 3 ccl cruises booked. The reason we get this one is we both wanted a go on the new ship, and cunard wouldn't let us use our fcd on the QM2 cruise we recently booked (subject of a complaint). fcd runs out in a week so just in time. The way ccl's price has gone today I should have booked QG. | pierre oreilly

14/11/2023 15:18 | US stocks and bonds jump after inflation falls to 3.2% UK CPI in the morning could spark a rally in the markets. | smurfy2001 |
