I think that where a few early backers hold the majority of shares there are occasional discussions. The Board, advised by brokers, might want more market liquidity, but the holders might want a greater return for their holdings. If the latter then the existing holders could simply propose taking the company private. As that hasnt happened in the last years (indeed, the very reverse) I can only assume that at least Gutenga see a time when they exit completely. But any takeover of such a small company would start the mover having a meeting with the Board and major shareholders; I doubt they would being with mopping up the free-market shares.
