I think in this note you will find a cogent Bear case. Whether it's right or wrong only someone who really knows the satellite scene will be able to determine.

It's not just EK Giovannina there is a hedge fund leading it I think you will find. And then there all those that follow EK by shorting and those he has frightened..............Yes, I remember Colt.

Finally the light bulb comes on.

Even the die hards here realise someone in the background has been up to no good.

I note the mention of inaccurate info. Trouble is that happens on every BB and the long termers tend to correct the mis-information.

What I worry about for you guys now is SC and co. It's all fun and games for them. But the fall out may cause a battle. The directors appear to be trying to fend off the shorters but will it work. I presume it's a show of confidence to get the herd buying. It's holding but creaking. It could go either way (I know, a really useful bit of info that)

Ladies and Gentlemen .....be very careful, not even the mighty EK can make a share drop this far.....I can smell something burning.......there is more to this drop than EK(SC)...AVN reminds me of COLT 1999/2000.....colt telecom could do no wrong and everybody was tipping it ....and then....the bears arrived.....good luck! ;0)

well he would wouldn't he as he is short, even so someone is walking a very thin line here , repeatedly selling in lots of 562 shares via CFD or whatever to manipulate the share price should be investigated imo

Yes, that would not be a huge surprise would it :-) However he did post again on Friday (think it was Friday) saying he was still short and advising others to before they lost more money.

I agree, yorgi. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if he were to come back from holiday when the price has been trashed to hell and then glibly report that he now accepted he had been misinfomred and had gone long, and make money on the way back, too ...

Not sure what he posted but the more cynical might suggest he keeps SC on board because so many people seem to subscribe to his service because SC is there. Of corse, a more principled person might show SC a red card as a signal to him and AVN shareholders.

Yes, but he has it would appear refused to acknowledge that the information he posted was incorrect even after having it pointed out to him by TW.

One has to wonder if SC would get a fraction of the attention and subsequent kudos if he wasn't given the platform by TW in the first place.

The question is whether he is posting misleading information knowing it is incorrect or whether he is mistaken. As I understand it, he was sent a note by a fund manager who is short and the mistakes are those of the fund manager or his analyst, who doesn't know the differnece between MegaHertz and MebaBits. SC is no techie - he wouldn't have a clue about the relative merits of different broadband platforms so he may well be posting in good faith.

But if he's not, then this would likely be illegal market manipulation.

Although this has given us time to add as well as directors it is not reassuring for any potential new investors to see what has happened to the share price and it will be bound to put some off questioning whats wrong. Where there is nothing wrong other than we have been unlucky enough to have been hit by a bear raid.
