And back to 5500 support. The earnings and revenue results on Tuesday to decide share price direction. A good beat would be advantageous. A fail would confirm trt as Guru....3rd class.

Drop has more to do with Powell putting the boot in on cuts than chatter about delisting.As for what trt posts.....no comment!.

I hold US shares in an ISA NVDA Appl Coke. You get a Iben-8 form to exempt you from some of US witholding tax.

Crookes243 - not sure, but if this de-lists you would have to move your shares from to your nominee account as I believe you are not allowed to hold any US$ holdings in your ISA

Not sure on the first part, but I am sure on the second....

I hold my shares in AHT in an ISA so all tax free. If there is a delisting then I assume dividends will be taxed at source. Not good.
Maybe trt is correct about the price drop……
Or maybe they will stop paying dividends like all good US Companies ?

The US Data did the trick and the market rejoiced verily.

Later Mr Powell will provide a statement etc and likely stick to the usual 'signs of improvement but will be guided by future data'.

AHT share price needs to show intent by closing above the large red candle (03 June). Also bear in mind the earnings and revenue results on 18 June.

MACD bullish crossover occurring on the daily chart. Last time this happened the move pushed the price up to 61.80. Interesting to see where it will go from here. Volume in these situations is often a key indicator also

Although I have noticed another US business - United Rentals - plant occasionally over here.

HSS has list its long standing contract with Amey: "HSS Hire Group Plc ("HSS" or "the Group") announces that, following a retender process it has been notified by Amey Plc of its decision to move to another supplier for the provision of its equipment rental managed service contract. The supplier agreement will end early December 2024 subject to any transitional services that HSS may agree with Amey. The agreement, which commenced in December 2015, accounted for approximately 7% of Group revenue and 10% of Group Adjusted EBITA in 2023."Wonder who won the tender?.....could be worth c £25m pa income, circa +4% Sunbelt UK?.

A very simplistic calc would be take AHT at URi's PE ratio - as per this site - would have AHT at £66

Story repeated in the Daily Mail as well.

We did identify this possibility a while back.

Its been a gradual Americanisation process. Reporting in US $ is a big change giveaway.

I thought you were due to put in an appearance trt.

Yes it has closed below 5500 support but not by much.

I suspect US data tomorrow will decide the next move. Back up above support or continued drop to fill the gap at 5312 and possible support at the lower trendline and the 50% FIB.

RSI is indicating oversold.
