#The Deacon I always thought it was a bit of an extension to the day’s movements (exaggerated gains) and some fx difference but now it’s nearly 20p per share. 🤔

It's very illiquid. In the past you'd usually see today's TSX gains given back over the course of the next trading day. I do think the worm is starting to turn though. There's a lot more discussion about the stock on the North American boards now. The proposition here is getting noticed..

#LLB Why is the share price in Canada always so much more than here?

#Woodhawk, from the LSE and the timings you can get a pretty good idea of what was a buy/sell around the time, some trades are delayed publication which is/can be confusing, the 50,000 at 170p does look more like a sell now you mention it pending if it was delayed or not, but the last auction UT 171.80p is a new high for us and stands up on its own... :o)

Interesting TSE pricing this afternoon too, CAD3.23/GBP1.93

You can't rely on those Advfn guesses - larger trades may be delayed. Also if you have direct market access, as I do with my IG Index accounts - you can buy & sell at all sorts of prices that may well be wrongly attributed. Nevertheless, a good day as we have closed at a high and above 170p.

That was a nice afternoons trading here, all buys after 13:45 over 170p, with a 50,000 buy also taken at 170p, plenty bought at 172/173p..

Staying long and strong, the run up to FY results continues, just as expected, .. :o)

It's a big move over there today; hopefully they'll be some follow through here....

RBC raised their t/p to 245p on 1st February.

A couple of broker target prices were on or around 250p, and as far out of reach as they were, they are now coming into view, with our FY2022 earnings potential way over USD100M if coking coal holds up for us..

It will be very interesting to see those predictions after the FY2021 financials, and their 2022 forecasts

Yes, just three more trading days! In the meantime, good to see the share price breaking up above 170p. As per The Deacon's comment above, clearly we could be looking at matching the previous 220p high in the next few months - managed this feat in a few weeks in 2019 and no reason why it shouldn't do so again.

Not long to go now for the FY financials.. :o)

The rate that debt is being wiped off the slate will open up our optionality too, and we know where that will be focused with Incoa and Piaui,

Cobalt 80,000 a tonne
Nickel 37,000 a tonne after many trading limit halts, and another today too

I am sure the team have many plans up their sleeve to add to our portfolio when the timing to buy value is right, but right now adding to existing royalties makes more sense with prices locked in years ago..

Indeed, though I see no reason why APF can't look towards all time highs in the coming months. Peers such as Altius Minerals have already hit those heights, with Altius now near 2x APF's market cap, even though APF has superior income. What Altius does have is a fantastic pipeline of optionality that's being progressed by various operators. I'm looking for APF to now close that valuation gap. I'm hearing that Marc is keen to get on various media and spread the story, so I'm looking forward to seeing that bear fruit.

Great to see the share price strength here in the run up to the expected financials RNS next week. I am looking for 180p in the coming days

No idea what is going on at BKY and nor do the company reading the price movement RNS stream, but looking at the share price action over the last few weeks, its either FOMO or perhaps some progress has been made on permitting concessions, 12p to 37p in a month tells a story somewhere.. :o)

Virtually all trades are well inside the quoted spread so it really isn't a particular significant issue. Currently the spread is 160.8 - 168.8 but you can Sell at 165.3p or Buy at 166.9p.

First auction price match at 170p that we have had since the Covid decline early 2020, not a large volume, but the price is going our way now on the run up to FY results and the dividend news next week.. :o)

The debt/cash position should be very interesting thanks to Kestrel..

Yes - i am a (very) long term holder but have never understood the insane spread that we so often see. The usual reason is that the market makers have little or no idea of what's going on !
