16/2/2022 08:43 | Conclusions are that nothing has changed IMO, JT needs to invest into Cotec, and their needs are fluid so a simple matter of an evolving strategy.. Dividend payment day here due today is now delayed until tomorrow.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
16/2/2022 07:56 | Yes but.... 1. On 14/7/21 the stated intention was an:- "intention to retain at least 75% of his pre-existing beneficial holding of Shares." 2. Then it was watered down on 24/12 to an " intention to retain a significant portion of his beneficial holding of Shares." 3. Today's 16/2/22 RNS IS SILENT on any intentions. One can but draw one's own conclusions. But if someone were to ask me what I thought the likelihood of further selling were, I know what my answer would be. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
16/2/2022 07:39 | There were 2 trades printed on the 11th of that size, a sell and a buy, so will we see a TR1 from the buyer..?JT still holds half his original shares here, and most likely needs to fund his new investment into Cotec .. | laurence llewelyn binliner
16/2/2022 07:21 | oh dear x 2 | quepassa
13/2/2022 13:01 | We may have to wait awhile for a Q1 update since last years it was not issued until May 5th. That's almost 3 months away unless combined with last years final results announcement, due on 30 March. | masurenguy
13/2/2022 12:21 | A very interesting week coming up with 151/152p+ paid last week, holding shares tight and just collecting the dividends has done me well to reduce average purchase costs returning/reducing at 9 pence a year, the bonus income from Kestrel is better deployed smashing debt down and/or buying new royalties than bumper dividends, but we get what we get.. Sales volumes at Kestrel were down -6% in Q4 21, which should benefit revenue in H1 22 at higher prices as these deferred volumes are recovered. Voisey’s Bay generated a net contribution of USD12.5M during nine months of post-acquisition ownership, with a further USD1.6M generated from two lots shipped in December 2021 and delivered in January 2022. We should see some buying this week from the latest dividend payouts getting rolled back in on 16th, see if we push on towards something sensible and 175-200p a share soon with what should be a cracking Q1 with the full impact from VB Cobalt and Kestrel as price lags convert to income .. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
13/2/2022 09:27 | Indeed - capital appreciation plus nice fat - and hopefully growing - quarterly dividends too. Been very profitable for me so far. After some modest trading, my effective buying-in price is 90p, so I'm well chuffed. | woodhawk
13/2/2022 09:20 | This is a share to have in your portfolio if inflation really takes off and stays high. | ceaserxzy
13/2/2022 09:04 | Why does it? | woodhawk
13/2/2022 08:52 | APF needs to break through 150p and hold for a couple of days | tommygriff
13/2/2022 01:42 | Its not such a long time since people were complainig about PAF being behind the curve getting left with coking coal royalties. What goes around comes around .... | 1knocker
11/2/2022 17:49 | A couple of interesting trades beeing worked through and now printed at noon, 2 * 700K at 144p, and GBP1M each.., buying mostly at 151/152p and over in the afternoon.. Onward and upward, not long to Q1/FY dividend news and maybe some royalty additions too as the debt reductions are ahead of schedule .. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
11/2/2022 10:25 | "Voisey’s Bay source ore production reached 8.4 kt in 4Q21, 10.6% lower than 3Q21 due to scheduled and corrective maintenance during the quarter at Long Harbour Refinery." From Vale Q4 production report. Explains the less than expected revenue from VB in Q4 given the rise in cobalt prices. | podgyted
11/2/2022 10:12 | Final divi for 2019-2020 was total 4.125p - I don't see why we shouldn't see at least that again? A 10% increase from last year. | woodhawk
11/2/2022 10:01 | 150p paid a couple of times this morning already, holders should temper their expectations around the FY dividend, we know it will be a now standard quarter 1.75p + bonus, a 2p bonus/special will be just fine, a larger payout is easily affordable with Coking Coal holding up as it and a larger special is possible but smashing the debt down should be a bigger priority.. We get what we get, but I will not vote against it either way.. :o) V2O5 prices also just hit a year high adding to 2022 income.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
10/2/2022 22:09 | Thanks #Woodhawk. Also I had an exchange a while ago with LLB about the final divi and whether it might be 0.0375p (given their new guidance on the payout ratio). I absolutely agree with LLB that the annual ‘bonus’ we have become accustomed to is very manageable (especially after the last 2 quarters and the likely income for 2023) but I was spooked by their change in guidance. We will have to see but it won’t stop me topping-up the ISA after April! 😎👍 | cocopah
10/2/2022 20:44 | I contacted Investor Relations at APF re the dividend schedule for 2022-3. I was impressed to receive a very swift response. I'm happy to report that divis will revert to a more 'normal' timetable this year rather than being compacted into the latter part of the year as they were this f/y 2021-2. More details in due course. | woodhawk
10/2/2022 17:25 | Big trade of £85k reported after close at 149p. You never know it might kick something off tomorrow. | podgyted
10/2/2022 14:19 | Maybe there will be, as it has been 9p for the past 2 years. We'll find out in 7 weeks. | masurenguy
10/2/2022 11:56 | Are you assuming there will be no increase in the divi? | woodhawk
10/2/2022 10:07 | #Andydaf... with Kestrel pulling in USD26M last quarter, and Q1 should be stronger, the debt reduction rate will be aggressive, and at that rate if it can be maintained should wipe it out almost completely by year end 2022.. We also need USD25M a year to cover the dividends at 9p which should not be too difficult.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
09/2/2022 20:48 | With a bit of luck if coking coal can hold above $300 all year kestrel could do more than $89million on its own.Debt here could vanish double quick. As always GLA | andydaf
09/2/2022 18:24 | I was wondering why RBC bothered to up their target price from 240p to 245p, so that article explains all! LOL. Just another £1 to go then. I can wait, with a few more £K in divis while I do so... | woodhawk
09/2/2022 18:19 | #Woodhawk, well spotted, RBC upped its royalty related income forecasts 2.8% to USD89.6M, which is another strong years income for us to smash the VB debt down with this year.. :o) Progress at Cadence / Amapa Progress at VEIN / Dugbe FY results and dividend April Q1-2020 update May | laurence llewelyn binliner |
