02/6/2017 06:55 | Stocks trade on projected earnings over the next 12 months - which in this case look pretty poor. The ramp up in production, ultimately converting to pound notes, is still years away - hence the stock is being dumped. There is no seller. There is no conspiracy. Just a load of broken promises and a guarantee that nothing is going to change anytime soon. At 20p a few months back it looked good value and potentially a good purchase for the forthcoming 12 months. Now it doesn't. Move on. | jonnycash1
01/6/2017 21:33 | They can moan because the share price should never have sunk to 20p in the first place. | ![]() blackdown2
01/6/2017 20:12 | Trotting12. No matter how much good news flow Amer has it's stagnant and can't gain momentum. Whoever is selling has control of the share price. It will be interesting to see the outcome. I'm personally thinking a possible bid, "Hope I'm wrong" if so let's hope they don't get it to cheap. | ![]() dayway123
01/6/2017 17:06 | I reckon Giles may leave soon, as he is involved with a new consumer goods business in India via cash shell SMA That may be the trigger that sends the price up. | ![]() big7ime
01/6/2017 16:21 | I think there's more to this than rh selling down his holding ,, he didn't get Rich by making bad decisions , and selling amer at the moment would look daft ,, someone has been putting the squeeze on amer for months ,, I'm sure their reasons will become clear soon ,, Bid ??? | ![]() trotting12
01/6/2017 11:10 | better look at SDX then same situation | ![]() tom111

01/6/2017 10:49 | Omg this stock is so frustrating. Any other stock with all the news would have trebled. | kerri28

31/5/2017 13:58 | Thanks Adam. With so much good news flow let's hope it's not overlooked for to long and the share price reflects its true value. | ![]() dayway123
31/5/2017 13:23 | Malcy says: "Amerisur Resources John Wardle and his team in Colombia have been very busy whilst I have been away and I was quite surprised that the shares havent already gone significantly higher. The Platanillo-21 update showed a 36′ net oil column in the V sands and a 17′ one in the T sands whilst further potential is being evaluated. The Mariposa-1 update was even more exciting, as this could be a real monster on the CPO-5 block as indicated recently. A flow rate of 4,601 b/d of 40.8° API crude on a restricted choke is exceptional and the well will be shut-in pre a long term test. This size of discovery should add significantly to the company’s long term production targets and make what might have seemed a daunting prospect all of a sudden genuinely realistic. I am increasingly confident about upcoming newsflow having seen such good news in recent weeks." | ![]() bigwavedave
31/5/2017 12:11 | Dayway - I'd say oil price collapse and bombed out market for E&ps generally. For sure there are company specific reasons, but market yet to catch on that things have changed. Will undergo re-rating assuming oil doesn't head back to $40. I think more chance of upside surprises from here. | ![]() adam
31/5/2017 10:47 | I feel the ghost of Alfred Palfred is about to make an appearance ;-) | ![]() al101uk
31/5/2017 10:46 | Hi Adam. Be nice to know your thoughts as to why we're only trading at 26p. | ![]() dayway123
31/5/2017 10:45 | Chucking in my tuppence worth, it looks like there's lots of people hanging on every price movement, maybe not the best idea on AIM !! Things are looking good for the mid to long term and barring a takeover bid, which would throw the cat among the pigeons, then the trend is looking like a steady upward curve. Unless day trading, my advice would be for some folks to just relax and get away from watching every movement for a few days and I believe you will feel much better for it. Don't get me wrong I've been guilty of this in the past with both this stock and others but ultimately we've all got a life to lead away from shares as before you know it you've lost 3 years of your life and nothing much has changed here !!! | ![]() ladeside
31/5/2017 10:41 | 300p is a bit ambitious at this stage. However oil prices I think might surprise some :- | ![]() adam
31/5/2017 10:33 | Meanwhile, I'd be happy with anything starting with 3. | ![]() bigwavedave
