I hope TDH comes back. He has accurately forecast falls as well as rises in the many years he has been posting here. If I had paid more attention, I'd be in a better position today.

Agreed. What it is Lucy is that you come across as arrogant simple as that. It is the way you post about other Amer enthusiasts after they make an opinion you may not agree with. You sound like an old school teacher that is trying to humiliate a pupil for saying something wrong. Maybe if you were to read some of your past posts you may realise that making condescending comments about other people's views can only get other people's backs up. Some of your posts have been informative which I respect but just because you don't agree with a comment there is probably a much nicer way of saying you don't agree rather than trying to make fellow investors look small.

It's just an opinion if you don't agree fair enough but no need to suppose that your opinion is worth more. If we only heard from one view it would be very dull.

why is calling out such nonsense as whatever the hell TDH posted yesterday as "arrogance"?. His post along the lines of last time things looked this good I predicted a rise to 40p and expect the same again in short order, looks even more ridiculous with oil down 4% today. I'm sorry if my outlook is tempered by years of experience but the next move up which is not determined by the price of oil will be confirmation that the drills are turning again in June followed by the results of said drilling and then the commissioning of the new pump house.I apologise for my late night invective but fantasy is not fact. We have had the post AGM bounce, production / export numbers were not bigged up by JW. The future is bright in the long term for sure but give me a break if you think fantasy share price forecasts should not be called out for what they are.

2018 should be the year we can all make money oil price high (so far) drills on the way pumping station upgraded reserves increased.....my head hurts was that real or a dream let's look at what the share price is today oh heck down again must not fall asleep on the couch again.

I no longer have a material interest in Amer - just an emotional one and I am firmly in the TDH camp. I dont follow this board as avidly as I used to - but I do look in from time to time and it is good to see old friends comments.
I think TDH has always added value to this thread and it would be sorry to see him go. BB's are a means of expressing ones opinion. You dont have to like those opinions - but at least it gives food for thought. Ultimately we will all make our decisions on what matters to us - not anyone else.

I have e-mailed the company.

They were "on the case" at February and in March and I expect them still to be "on the case" now.

I am perfectly happy with the company strategy and were I not, I would sell and find a better home for my funds.

This balances reasonable risk with excellent potential reward and I do now, having met JW, have increased confidence in the only director who really matters in the current equation, the man wielding the "Black and Decker" so to speak.

Always good to see the TA opinion from the likes of TDH and Martin: specifically seeing the company prospects and perception from a more detached viewpoint than fundamentals..

Fair play to TDH, many years ago he had a bet on with Trotts, I dont think they know each other, but TDH paid up, Trotting put the £100 behind the bar at St Mellons that year!

So TDH come back. Sometimes I think Lucypoop is more than one person posting, even though I have met him.
