RH sells into volume and noticeably kicks in above 20p

The recent figures are

56,215,117 12th Feb: notification by registrar of falling below 5%
52,806,804 15th March: company update of major shareholders
52,805,530 as at 31st March per company accounts y/e 2017

If he had sold more than 4 million throughout April and May, it would have taken him through the 4% thresh hold and the registrar is "on the case" now: the surprise is that he did not sell into the recent high volumes in size.

Lucy's explanation is likely to be the right one, but interestingly, the volumes have really dropped off: probably due to the up coming drilling campaign.

One of the most interesting comments from the Gran Tierra interview was the CEO's emphasis on lower risk in Colombia, which is why they have shifted the company focus back to Colombia (as opposed to wild catting in Brazil and Peru). Reproducible success, is what he is after.

That viewpoint resonates with the JW AGM presentation.

In that presentation, it is particularly worth noting what is said about the change of focus on CPO-5 and how that brought the Mariposa success.

Drilling always carries a risk, but the rewards here seem to be well worth the risk and it is possible that even RH may want to keep some skin in the game.

Morning all
This is my first post
I have been with these shares a very long time now, still sticking it out,but i had a call last night 24/05/2018 from a person so called from America !asking if i wanted to sell my shares in Amerisur as there is some one trying to get 51% of the shares !!
Has any one else be approached about this !

I'm with the TDH fans here, shame to lose one of the good ones.

I set up this ages ago (2014), cleaned it up and created an AMER topic to post my thoughts on when I was particularly fed up of reading stuff on here. Haven't done much with it, but if anyone wants to post their longer, more thought out posts, feel free.



If anyone uses it, it's evolution can be whatever we decide.

Think you are being particularly unkind regards The Dark Horse - I do not pretend to understand charting or chart analysis but The Dark Horse has called this share very well over a very long period of time.

All the long-termers here know very well I cannot abide the ridiculous rampers and de-rampers that come here - The Dark Horse is not one of them.

I've been here continously for 13 years to varying degrees but now fully loaded considering my modest income .

If they find 130m barrels and are producing 12k bopd by year end as planned the share price will be vastly different to what it is now.

No this time it feels for real...by year end we will have drilled in 5 different acreages, a diversity we have been seeking for years....two of which are already producing....even if we don't quite drill all the additional 14 wells our proven reserves and production volume will be substantially higher from where we are now....remember that in southern Colombia Amerisur have never drilled a duster....I'm hanging on in there

From memory there is a 50% chance there are 1.3billion barrels in our licences and a 90% chance of at least 300million (the the reserves RNS a few weeks back).Huge numbers for a small company like Amerisur.
