Gone up 28% since 15 May.

That is based on no new news - so could just as likely fall back.

However, one good bit of news from the drilling program, and I think you could see another whoooooosh. Might even be provided from the production update - I'm expecting a bump up following maintenance and a tick-up, given POO, will probably give further momentum.

Last 70 trades i think were over 20 out of 600 or so during the day, lets hope thats a nice base, not too much, not too little upwards

The statement made by GC was in the context of share price performance (he was the only one to try for an explanation) and he said that a major shareholder (he did not name) had sold "106m" over the last year.

Quite clearly, it was RH, as apart from Michinoko, no-one else has held that number of shares in recent years.

Obviously, his figures are entirely wrong, as from March 2017 to March 2018, we can see from the RNSs that he sold 30 million, taking him down to the last declaration, of 52 million in March 2018.

It was just one of those throw away comments (to deflect shareholder anger) which had no base in fact.

He also recycled the story that "the shareholder" had been offered, but refused a buyout of his holding at a much higher price than that today (elaborating with not just the company brokers but others, all to no avail), so that was reconfirmed from the horse's mouth.

We were also treated to a taste of the bully: he apparently is taking legal action against some minnow who dared to say in some forum or other that GC had not bought his shares.

The silver lining at the AGM for me, was that I have been quite critical of JW, but I took away a favorable impression of him, as knowledgeable and very committed to Colombia. Those who say that he effectively is the company, are probably right to do so.

FA - Don't think it's worth arguing about. Best practise is to announce a threshold has been crossed when a transaction (sale in this example) completes, not when it settles a few days later. All rather pointless splitting hairs if the holder doesn't (apparently) follow the rules.

In the last 3 months there have been 7 days where volume has exceeded 10m. 4 of these have been in the last 5 sessions. During which time the share price is up 25%. Tells the story. Wise money is accumulating

TGG: No its not. Not if it is a single transaction. There are exemptions that apply in that instance. If you note that institutions that bought RH's shares along the way but who completed their transaction announced them in the correct manner, but RH can claim exemption if his order to sell in a single transaction had not yet settled.

Don't agree with holdings not being announced but there you have it.

This in my opinion was not THE whoosh, but a whoosh along the way as I suspect its now too dangerous for anyone to safely short or keep away from the party.

Serious matter not declaring when a shareholding goes through a threshold - one gets a strongly worded letter & quite possibly some muppet wagging a finger rather sternly....

You are mistaken but I believe the error you are making is assuming that he has notified disposals along the way, when of course he hasn't. That was done by the Company using the Company Registrar.

Now Rex hasn't issued disposal notices along the way or going through thresholds that normally require notification, because he has not been required to if using the exemption on one single transaction, so when that transaction ends he would need to notify his holding as thus far only the Company via Company Registrar has done that.

Whether that happens is another matter. I'm interested in Giles comments about 106million? Is that shares sold, or total transaction to sell?
