18/2/2017 12:36 | edit Bought them on 14th August 2015 at 3.515p. I've been in Corac/TPG for a very long time, and the others owe me quite a bit more! | tiltonboy
18/2/2017 12:26 | So they were in your ISA which had to be bought in July 2016 when the price was 3.5p. And they weren't in your pool of TPG shares. | bullster
18/2/2017 12:17 | Same day 30 day Pooled Or have them in an ISA and not worry about the tax! | tiltonboy
18/2/2017 11:46 | So section 104, all shares accumulated in one individual company have to be pooled and sold using the average buying price. If only some of the shares are disposed of, the allowable expenditure is a fraction of the pool of actual cost. The fraction is ‘Number of shares sold’ divided by ‘Total number of shares in the holding’. There are a couple of circumstances in which shares will not be regarded as becoming part of the pooled holding. Mainly shares affected by the ‘bed and breakfasting’ and ‘same day’ rules. | bullster
18/2/2017 10:39 | FIFO disappeared years ago. | tiltonboy
18/2/2017 10:16 | And there was me thinking that, for capital gains purposes, it was the first bought shares that are sold the first. | bullster
18/2/2017 10:03 | Nothing wrong with taking some profits PA. I took out the lot that I bought at 3.5p, but retain the majority. As I did with PEG, I will sell on rises, and hopefully get a better average selling price. I felt for the first time last week that there was some "proper" buying, and to watch Cannacord and Cenkos moving on to the bid, when they have generally been well offered over the past few years, suggests the loose stock has been cleared. Even when some selling appeared, the MM's toook some decent size before calling it down. In the past, the first 25k coming out bashed the price. | tiltonboy
17/2/2017 14:54 | There will be investors waiting to buy between 7.0p and 8.0p, because the rise was so rapid it would have gapped over peoples buy price. I suspect this is the case because after topping up at 7.19p I had planed to buy again at 7.5p, yet no chance. I honestly don't think I would have another chance at 7.5p, but wouldn't complain if I had the opportunity. | interceptor2
17/2/2017 12:34 | Backtest of previous support 7.25p-7.5p and then higher would be the ideal scenario. | ileeman
17/2/2017 11:29 | A dip was always going to happen, it's healthy, no share price goes up in a straight line. | paulgo
17/2/2017 11:07 | Reduced slightly here | nw99
17/2/2017 10:35 | I've still got 3/4 of my holding and will keep these for a while yet. But I bought quite a few at 2.1p and the increase in price has made me a bit overweight. I just think it's prudent to sell a few and reduce my sensitivity to TPG price. | kiwihope
17/2/2017 10:21 | Pulling back after the stellar rise, have not sold any just think it needs to consildate for a bit. 10p target. | ileeman
17/2/2017 09:21 | Good rise here in a short time. Just top-sliced 1/4 of my holding... | kiwihope
17/2/2017 08:09 | I am expecting a news on Monday . | nina65
16/2/2017 17:59 | You could not buy any into the close for what its worth. I note the reduced holdings, I guess their sells have been matched to another large buyer. | ileeman
16/2/2017 17:53 | Easy mistake to make though given the recent and continuing rise. Also worth remembering that for every sale there is a buyer! | paulgo
16/2/2017 17:41 | Ah, that'll teach me not to make assumptions! | paulgo
16/2/2017 17:37 | It was a sale of 1m shares. | tiltonboy
16/2/2017 17:31 | There's the institution buying announcement.....or one of them. | paulgo
16/2/2017 14:13 | Back to 25k max at 8.5p. They are finding it difficult to find sellers. | ileeman
16/2/2017 11:55 | Thanks woody888 | septblues
16/2/2017 11:27 | NT = Negotiated Trade A type of secondary market exchange in which the prices of each security are bargained out between buyers and sellers. In a negotiated market there are no market-makers or order matching, instead buyers and sellers actively negotiate on the price at which a transaction is finalized either directly or through the use of brokers. | woody888 |
