15/2/2017 11:45 | Panmure have got a target price of 9.47p. | tiltonboy
15/2/2017 11:32 | The fact is that 60% of the shares issued in TPG are already held by institutional investors (I expect that percentage to have risen given the recent buying) so it doesn't leave that many out there for the rest; hence the steep rise on relatively small volume. M&G Investment Management Limited 83,539,919 - 19.8% Legal and General Investment Management Ltd - 62,535,398 - 14.8% Hargreave Hale Ltd - 46,489,334 - 11.0% Octopus Investments Ltd - 26,607,356 - 6.3% Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management Ltd - 20,384,767 - 4.8% Barclays Stockbrokers - 16,414,991 - 3.9% | paulgo
15/2/2017 11:25 | Hence mid to high teens on the way Pavey | timojelly
15/2/2017 11:21 | do they ascribe value to the Intellectual Property? | septblues
15/2/2017 10:59 | Panmure Gordon have initiated coverage with a very, very positive report. (and I mean positive). Can't give too much detail but it was a very full and detailed report. Just one bit that made me smile, they valued TPG maritime at £40m ON ITS OWN. Now where have you heard that before ? I'll remind you all that I posted, about this time last year, that TPG Maritime was worth £30m ON ITS OWN a and received number of derisive replies. I have since recently repeated that the unit was worth £40m. (The value of doing your own thing when investing in small companies.) Now we have two brokers covering the stock the word is more likely to get out that TPG is on the up and is a bargain at these prices. | pavey ark
15/2/2017 10:30 | That would take you back to 6p. I need 20p to breakeven!! Might average if we see 6p again. Certainly a turn around situation, could get my average price to 11.50p lol | prokartace
15/2/2017 09:45 | I much prefer to see price movement on hard news. The only thing I can come up with , in the absence(for now) of hard news, is the recent broker's upgrade. Cenkos , the house broker, distributes these notes on a very limited basis but the distribution may increase after seven days or so. The most recent and very positive upgrade was dated the 7th of February so it may have gone to a wider audience at the beginning of this week. Just a rather weak theory but if it was important news that had got out and had sparked a ten fold increase in volume yesterday and now today's rise then I would expect some sort of announcement very soon. | pavey ark
15/2/2017 09:24 | couple of 40k trades from earlier. Feels like some big boys adding. | glennborthwick
15/2/2017 09:22 | Large instituional buying taking place. Market makers taking up a lot of stock at 7.75p bid no problem, they are also limiting you to what you can buy. Expect more large trades to appear. | ileeman
15/2/2017 09:12 | Plenty of offloading and we still don't budge, big buyer in the background? | timojelly
15/2/2017 08:45 | S.P./ VOL. | bullster
15/2/2017 08:34 | 10p looming | timojelly
15/2/2017 08:31 | pfft. considered adding yesterday but thought there would probably be a pullback to the bottom of the upward channel. | lfc4ever
15/2/2017 08:26 | Manage to top up 26454 @7.5p | nina65
15/2/2017 08:17 | Breakout mode. Premiums paid. | ileeman
14/2/2017 18:59 | Now, that's what I call a good day! My complete guess is that some sort of rather good news is leaking out. | malcolmtalcum2
14/2/2017 17:56 | Mid teens written all over it this year IMO. But hey, whatever happens it's been a fantastic turnaround! | timojelly
14/2/2017 17:35 | Likely to be more earnings enhancing acquisitions in time too. Just a matter of being patient here. | cfro
14/2/2017 16:55 | iLeeman, You did well spotting the potential of an imminent price move, I also added again today. Thanks for the notes from the house broker Pavey Ark, ties in well with my own thoughts here, noticed that investors were slow to catch onto the positive acquisition on the day of release, with the price hardly moving in the morning, but certainly sinking in now imo. Worth repeating that using full £2.75m costs, PSR = 0.61 and net margins approximately 8.8%, that is good value and that is without any synergy savings or cross selling opportunities. | interceptor2
14/2/2017 16:45 | Do you think 50mil.MOD Contract news leaking? | nina65
14/2/2017 16:16 | how bullish PA - can you give us some very brief insights? eg top line, EBITDA etc | septblues
14/2/2017 15:31 | Not really willing to comment on daily price movements but things did look rather odd in the absence of hard news. Noticed the bit about the Barclays site showing a broker's upgrade and I've just got a copy of it. The upgrade note was issued after the announcement of the recent acquisitions and it is very bullish (very!). Expectation of very positive news flow this year. All forecast risks are to the upside. Expect year end cash pile of £6m and this after equipment expenditure and recent acquisitions. As you know I'm not very impressed by broker's/Edison's forecasts regarding TPG but this is the second time the house broker has updated the 2017 forecasts in two months Dec 2016 up by 18% now up another 14% (they'll catch up eventually) Lots of very positive things to say about the recent acquisitions and also about the recent equipment expenditure. | pavey ark
14/2/2017 15:21 | Also added today. Very high volume day. | cfro
14/2/2017 15:10 | 25k max. Broken major yearly resistance line on volume, will run over next few weeks imo. | ileeman |
