18/6/2013 10:33 | Exbroker - how can we learn which companies are likely to enter which indices in September? Many thanks for your help. | aimingupward2
18/6/2013 09:18 | Most of the volume will be on Friday and a big chunk of that will be in the closing auction as that sets the Index entry level. The trackers can buy before that time and after but then the risk getting tracking error be it + or - from the benchmark price. Most of these changes are done as program trades with the global houses who have no clue what the stocks do they just shove the orders into the closing auction. You will see that the stocks should have gone order driven from this morning. If you are trading use a limit then get your broker to display it on the order board, you will need to be able to deal t+3 so get stock into the brokers nominee today to play on Friday. | exbroker
18/6/2013 09:07 | Thanks for keeping us on the page Exbroker. Do the trackers have to buy in before Friday so that they have a holding from the moment it enters the index, or do they have some period of grace during which they must acquire a holding once the share has entered the index. In other words will the tracker purchases continue after Friday? | tratante
17/6/2013 21:50 | Shauney2- Thanks its what I do, look at my other posts, I have longs in GAW, GLE and HSD all going into the index on Friday, but that is old news, I am working on Septembers changes now....... | exbroker

17/6/2013 18:05 | Couldn't resist another top up today. I'm in at 143, 207 and 293. Absolutely cracking stock. Results will be great next week - just a question of how great! | willydoctor
17/6/2013 16:15 | Exbroker,i remember you called this a fair while ago.Great call. Got a lovely problem now with the results next Monday and the rating high. They are just as likely to announce a major contract win at the same time.Like a football manager with too many good players. | shauney2
17/6/2013 11:14 | Thanks all for update. Up again today - sounds like more to come. | willydoctor
17/6/2013 10:25 | I couldn't find the announcement on the ftse site, looked at various headings including the index changes tab and the press releases. Where did you find it ExBroker? | tratante
17/6/2013 09:31 | Its on the FTSE site and PRV are going into the small cap at the close on Friday 21 June, lots of stock to be bought by the trackers before then | exbroker
17/6/2013 07:25 | The valuation date for review was 12 June, but the outcome of the review committee has not yet been announced. You can find details on the ftse site. | tratante
16/6/2013 14:33 | Im looking prv as traderdiary.co.uk has covered it on site. | birdsedgeuk
16/6/2013 14:23 | Interim Results on 24th June. | lurki0
15/6/2013 10:22 | At last! A decent upward revision after the recent falls. Understand tracking the market but with results coming out in a couple of weeks I wish I had more cash to accumulate more. Does anyone know if this is now in the FTSE all share index yet? I have a vague memory of June 24th as the date it's official but this may be wrong. Or is it results on 24th? Or both... or neither? I think that's covered most options! | willydoctor
08/6/2013 23:11 | Looking good -- | ddav
05/6/2013 18:46 | Don't you just love the way this firm pops up with these pleasant surprises? And there we were thinking nothing was going to happen until results at the end of the month. Quite agree, Willydoctor - a class act indeed. | lurki0
05/6/2013 17:19 | Thanks for the correction exBroker. I should have realised that. | tratante
05/6/2013 16:07 | tratante This is far too small to go into the FTSE 250 Index. It will however go into the Small Cap Index and so attract buying from the tracker funds. | exbroker
05/6/2013 13:43 | What a fantastic update. I wonder how much above expectations profit will be when announced on 24th. Up 5% on an otherwise miserable day. I bet there is follow through tomorrow too. | willydoctor
05/6/2013 12:34 | Does anyone know if entry into the ftse 250 is a certainly ? | tratante
05/6/2013 12:02 | They always seem to release a positive trading statement at the right time! especially when the price is starting to go down a bit. Think that's why it been a very good share, just wish other companies would take note. | kendo10
05/6/2013 10:49 | I was thinking of taking profits so glad I didn't | bigmike100
05/6/2013 09:03 | Been here a couple of years too. Bought more yesterday on hope of ftse 250 entry. For once timed it right. Doesn't happen often! | tratante
05/6/2013 08:06 | Topped up this morning, loving this well run company, a long term hold for me here. Been in since Feb 2011 GLA | cheaky monkey
05/6/2013 07:48 | A slick well oiled machine that just keeps on giving! Love it! | buster78 |
