04/2/2013 14:51 | I note WHI are in error, having pvr down as AIM which it is not (its Fledgling), but otherwise they seem pretty confident in pvr's ''strong trading momentum''. Me too, but I wish it showed in the share price | ![]() petersinthemarket

29/1/2013 18:07 | Is it actually the blocklisting causing the price to drop or just public reaction? | mozart999uk
29/1/2013 16:03 | Anyone pointing to anything negative is mostly not welcome on any discussion board sites, information negative or positive makes us make decisions to buy and sell, and if a share is sold there maybe a time later to buy back in. There are reasons i think for a slower pace this year, but i think this is one company that has a solid future, i do not go by graphs alone in buying and selling, but i think there is a limit on any fall in the graph. This is a good solid company to invest some of my money. | ![]() safarinorman

28/1/2013 13:05 | Checked the webcast - very interesting regarding the reason for put a moderating pace of growth statement in the outlook statement. It's pretty much as a result of still being less than 2 months in and December/January not being good guides to business during the rest of the year. I can easily see upgrades happening as the year unfolds. | ![]() cockerhoop

28/1/2013 09:37 | Nothing not to like. If the had left out the growth to be "more moderate" quote out i think we would be up 10% Metals Filtration 2012 2011 Growth GBPm GBPm % Revenue 28.0 25.9 8% ----- ----- ------- Operating profit 2.4 1.5 63% ----- ----- ------- The margin in the metals division is really impressive. With more to come going by this chapter. "After a highly cash generative year, with operating profit conversion to cash of 200%, we expect to make several investments in the division in 2013. As noted at the half year, we have started a new cycle of investment in facilities, plant and people in China, part of a settled strategy for the division that will pursue opportunities in certain niche markets in Asia. We will also be investing in the next generation of new products to be made in the USA" With the possibility of more contract from nuclear and aerospace in the microfiltration division it all looks very positive for the next year. Nice increase in the dividend too. | ![]() shauney2
28/1/2013 08:25 | Can anyone find anything to criticise in the results? Price to cash flow and price to free cash flow(excluding acquisition)ratios are comfortable. PER at 18 is a touch high. I guess everything is in the price and given the statement about future growth not being as stellar, we might see some softening in the months ahead - with any luck. 2.6% of my portfolio. apad | ![]() apad
