17/4/2013 07:36 | Thanks hotbhoy, well worth a read | hell23
16/4/2013 07:58 | Very positive update. Just a reminder of how big the Jamnagar contract is. The POSCO contract worth 10 million dollars. The Jamnagar contract was worth three times that. Now upped by a quarter. | shauney2
16/4/2013 07:54 | Agreed, more to come here imo, solid management, solid products. Long term holder & see that continuing.CM | cheaky monkey
16/4/2013 07:07 | Excellent IMS. This company is really steaming ahead now. | lurki0
11/4/2013 14:45 | You could be right there. Maximum bid 10k and offer 2.5k | shauney2
11/4/2013 14:26 | Its the standard market maker trick when they are short, run them up hard first thing and then pull the rug out from under them. that way they sell some at the higher level and also flush out a few profit takers on the way down. Try buying some at these levels to see how well bid they are!! | exbroker
11/4/2013 09:36 | paulypilot, sadly doubt if I will get the time to attend. The mrs thinks I spend enough time on shares as it is lol.Mind you I could always take here to a show after.Like your blog by the way. Unusual rush to buy here this morning them profit taking.Tipped somewhere? | shauney2
11/4/2013 08:27 | Though Stone your comment, "Best Share Ever" was and still is VERY wide of the mark. I would also like to point out that I predicted that Povair price was going to rise, though at a slower rate than you and would be in the £2 region this year or next. I'm extremely happy that it is this. | dolphinspirit
11/4/2013 07:38 | I take my hat off to you Stone, I did not expect them to hit this high for another year or two. It will be interesting to see how high they are going to reach. D | dolphinspirit
10/4/2013 20:42 | Willydoctor (!!!) I expect at least one of us who attend the meeting will jot down a few thoughts afterwards on a bulletin board of Blog. At the risk of shameless self-publicity, my Blog is published on - every weekday morning here (scroll down and it shows the last 5 morning's reports): Cheers, Paul. | paulypilot
10/4/2013 19:45 | Thanks for that Paulypilot! Sadly I won't be able to go - but would love to hear feedback. WD | willydoctor
10/4/2013 18:45 | Stone the crow is the name my predictions are my fame. Way back in December 2011 i said this was going to 220p and my prediction has come true. Disbelievers like Dolphin spirit oh boy oh boy. Best if you all watch out for STONETHECROW. | stonethecrow
10/4/2013 16:05 | Hi, Porvair management are presenting to investors at the next investor forum, organised by Equity Development in London next week, on 17 April. I'll be going, as the last one in January was very interesting & well organised (also easy to get to, as in Hanover Square). It's a good opportunity to meet management, hear a presentation from them, then Q&A, which can be as searching as you like! Also can usually mingle afterwards with mgt, and chat to other investors. Should be a good event. You can book yourself in by visiting this link to ED's website: Regards, Paul. | paulypilot
10/4/2013 15:53 | Steady buying again today. I noticed a couple of weeks ago we had a buyer picking up 25k at a time so I also added to my already overweight holding. Hard to get hold of any in quantity at the moment. | shauney2
10/4/2013 11:16 | Well its a 10 year high for sure.A long way from the all time high. Looking very bullish at the moment.Details of the Indian contract would be very interesting. They said at the time "Elements of the engineering will be similar to the work we are currently doing for POSCO in South Korea, but the initial Jamnagar installation will be three times larger" The POSCO contract from memory was worth 30 million dollars. So Jamnagar is a very big deal. So next weeks IMS should give is a very big clue as to where the share price goes before the results in June.Worth noting that they said at the last results that growth this year would be at a more modest rate. | shauney2
10/4/2013 10:27 | Morning Shauney! I am a big fan of PRV. I think 220 is an all time high. I wonder whether there will be details of the new Indian contract in the update? | willydoctor
09/4/2013 17:19 | Not sure if this can be classed as a breakout today.Think we touched the 220 a month ago.The chart looks sweet. Some nice steady buying in the last 2 weeks augurs well for of next Tuesdays AGM and trading update. | shauney2
15/3/2013 18:55 | No idea, i sold the last of my holding here today so good luck to all holders. | battlebus2
15/3/2013 18:45 | Any reason for the pull back today? | mozart999uk
14/3/2013 17:08 | shauney - no worries ! , not taken as criticsm , I did understand and agree with your post 825, I am just getting very aerospace centric in my views at the moment, can't keep my hands off any share with the slightest exposure to civil aircraft manufacturing, just wish that so many good companies in the sector were not in private hands or bought out by the french or the yanks. | rogerrail
14/3/2013 08:23 | Is there some news out? | whymps2
14/3/2013 08:11 | Storming on to new highs :)) | battlebus2 |
