Well it has bounced back very well indeed since the mm's games at open. It's a shame for anyone that sold out as I think this could be abut to go on a bit of good run!

You could chose the alternative of leaving it in the BS and getting
0.8%, whilst the BS then puts it into aly for 8%.

Yep I agree - I'm happy to hold here for the lucrative dividend. I think the MM's were too quick to mark this down. The results look good to me, and The buys are flooding through now so don't be surprised to see this end up today.

Yes our online sales here are increasing, and they are moving
elsewhere, agree with all comments but still holding for income,
I am expecting a bounce from here.

I'm surprised at the negativity.

eps is 2.1p and they are paying 2p in dividend.

Like for like is up, they are clearly closing unprofitable stores and focusing on growth areas such as online.

I'm out guys. Good news is dividend is maintained, but bad news for me is they are still bent on chasing growth etc in the east where the market is not only looking less certain but is also less transparent. I'm surprised their wasn't more info about the Singapore property purchase and think going forward the dividend will be slashed to try and counter balance poor performance in other parts of the business. I did like the company but have held too long and I think my money will be better held elsewhere where their is likely to be better capital appreciation.I think ALY has turned into a value trap. Best of luck if you still hold.
