Everything hammered, expect gold miners.

Income stocks will recover soon enough, I continue to
buy whilst low, although it is only the bid that is.

Been watching for quite a while and so picked some up at 23.68p this morning. Guess that China is the specific concern here.

Buys going thro at 23.75p so if you believe in the company, its mamangement + that it's dividend is sustainable, you'll be picking up a nice 8.4% yield at this level. Disclosure: only have a small holding + not currently looking to add.

11%, are you on the correct thread?

You believe that Laura Ashley is a scam?

Do you have any evidence for this?

Have you read the FCA warning at the bottom of this page?

You are an idiot.

This is a scamm.

All the money will go East.

You lot are fish looking at a big fat worm on a hook, the dividend.

It is the way they play it.

This has been a solid long term performer and I see no reason for this not to continue.I shall be topping up once again for the growth and dividends.

Thank you for your gvc comment.

Regarding aly, I am just happy to receive the good dividend to
be quite truthful.

I just continue to add,I have also gone long at fccn and as
you probably now I am long PAF from around 7p, handsome dividend also.

I hope that helps, enjoy your weekend.

Well may it continue then as we will be positive at the close,
I for one made use of the silly season earlier, nice 9% yield.

What are the interest rates again? Oh forgot negative in real terms.

News reports suggest that Laura Ashley Australia (LAA) will continue to trade; that it is possible that some individual stores will close whilst the others may remain open as a going concern. It would also appear that the sole director of LAA got into severe difficulties with another business that was somehow linked with LAA.

The exposure that LA plc has stated would therefore seem to be an unlikely worse case scenario... Will just have to wait and see on that.

The company says its exposure to the liqyuidation in Australia is £1.2m and that the rest of the business is unaffected.

There may be a buying opportunity if the market overreacts.

Last year ALY made £23.5M PBT ... Australia £1.2M max exposure.

Agree, I have been buying aly in the teens and twenties for years
and will continue to do so, the 7% approximate yield is good
enough for me. Long may it stay in the mid twenties.
