14/8/2009 08:15 | Another CR special - Rub Off from BLND as well me thinks. | matthewa
13/8/2009 17:57 | Agree - and you're investing in the very limited commodity of UK land. That's a cheap, relatively safe investment imo. Income funds and Capital Growth funds would find this attractive imo. And directors buying heavy at this level. Added more today. Breakout confirmed today. CR | cockneyrebel
13/8/2009 13:01 | Commercial property has suffered: now it is yielding well and we're at or near the bottom from a capital value perspective, so it's no surprise that these are moving up. I'm in and staying in. | andrewbaker
13/8/2009 12:29 | LAND - breaking out here, reckon there's a pound in these short term before it hits the next resistance. CR | cockneyrebel
13/8/2009 11:50 | People might want to take a look at OTE - its one of the few remaining bombed out commercial property stocks that have not yet had a big lift | scruffydave
11/8/2009 09:15 | This will find good support at 625 today/tomorrow. Should see a good ascent towards 700 next week. | shammytime
07/8/2009 08:22 | Yeap CR money to be made here - bouncing back strongly after profit taking. BLND also looks good but i'm sure you already have you're monical on that one. | gozo
07/8/2009 07:35 | I see LAND directors have been buying heavy yesterday. CR | cockneyrebel
29/7/2009 22:35 | Brief mention in todays Mail - Amid vague Middle Eastern stakebuilding speculation, Land Securities put on 111/2p to 500½p | decoy
14/7/2009 16:21 | Commercial property in the UK is ahead of elsewhere in respect of price declines: looking forward, yields are rising based on current capital values so this alone should encourage higher valuations, even if we do stay in a recession for some time longer, which I think we will. Higher valuations with a good yield and a discount to NAV should encourage the share price to rise, and certainly should support the current price which is more than can be said about a lot of stocks out there. | andrewbaker
14/7/2009 15:58 | i was wondering more about what people believe current NAV is. But thanks for the reply. Lot more useful than down! | racg
11/7/2009 16:32 | it's trading at a 26% discount to its reported NAV... | wilfman
08/7/2009 14:50 | Mmmm helpful! | racg
08/7/2009 08:35 | So what do we guess NAV is currently ? | racg
03/7/2009 18:20 | Would have thought the Portman sale would be positive news ???? Adding to the cash pile, LAND must have the lowest net debt level in years. | curry2
03/7/2009 13:09 | Blimey, must be the highest yield in the FTSE! Do you know if Portman House was sold at a premium or discount to book value? | curry2
03/7/2009 12:38 | Curry - yes that's correct. | decoy
03/7/2009 12:18 | is the dividend 7p quarterly for 28p annual - a 6.3% yield? | curry2
27/6/2009 12:48 | Hammerson confirms letting at 60 Threadneedle Street 13:08 | 26.06.09 By Deirdre Hipwell Hammerson has confirmed it has achieved its first letting at 60 Threadneedle Street in the City of London to Talbot Underwriting as revealed by Property Week. Talbot, a Lloyd's underwriter, has signed a lease for 42,150 sq ft on the 7th and 8th floors of the building, paying £44/sq ft on a 15 year lease which includes a 42 month rent-free period. ......> 42 month rent free. lol. | gyau
26/6/2009 13:37 | everybody is all dead in the long term | po0h ber
25/6/2009 14:15 | Well, I'm back. Commercial property is still not out of the woods, but who is happy with cash on deposit or in gilts, with quantititive easing especially spoiling the party for the latter? I've taken a small position for a long/longer term hold. IMHO the downside now is limited whilst the upside is aided by the dividend whilst waiting. | andrewbaker
11/6/2009 15:21 | I am still short. | dasv |
