Hard to argue with FSA Dempsey Well Integrity issues are all the chat in Perth every deep drill in this part of the basin has suffered the same fate Perth is an Oil and Gas Hub and a small town about the size of Aberdeen Everyone knows what is going on and assesses risk differently to the UK as can be seen in valuations Anything can happen but the risk is clearly to the downside as the chart shows Testing may not be possible at all think that over

"it because mapped data wrong

the well aint intercepted right

they gonna ave to drill again im afraid"

Yeah, of course...........the significant gas shows and huge pressure all the way down totally correlate to the mapped data being wrong and them having to drill again.

How silly of us all not to have understood that.

Thanks for helping.

swampydrill,

After re reading the last 2 RNS's, there could be a grey area?

From todays RNS it says

The well's lowest zone, a thin sand...

Apologies.

A cheerie thought on a grey morning,,
it's quite obvious they've never been in EME long enough to know a tear or two,
we've shared a few disappointments, but have bounced back,
as this will obviously do yet again....

What is good is the flows are in line with the predications from wireline logs. They have said this well is a monster so watch out when they test the major zones!

BA - I have dumped most of my AST and put it in here. We'll see if it was the right decision; you win some you lose some - but there's a lot more to come here than over there.I'm having a final top up now the price has settled.
