10/11/2017 14:52 | dodgydd, I think you're looking at Brent. The extra payout is for whole dollars Jul-Dec average on WTI from $61 to $65. Quote from RNS 22/02/16: "If the average New York Mercantile Exchange strip price of light sweet crude oil (WTI) for the calendar period of 1 January 2017 until 30 June 2017 or 1 July 2017 until 31 December 2017 exceeds US$60.00 per barrel (the "Second Contingency"), then CEP II shall pay to the Company an additional US$1,000,000 for every whole dollar in excess of US$60.00 per barrel (collectively, the "Second Contingent Payment") provided the Second Contingent Payment shall not exceed US$5,000,000. If there is no First Contingency Payment, this shall not preclude a Second Contingent Payment if the Second Contingency is met." So not much chance of any payout :{ c | crosseyed

10/11/2017 14:32 | Oil price looking good at $64. Been above $60 all November. It's a shame we've missed out on the extra payment for the sake of a month. Please correct me if I've got it wrong though. | dodgydd
10/11/2017 13:25 | I wouldn't waste time Brimsley, on odious tales of trading wrongly. | cmackay

10/11/2017 11:28 | It will came back up because if testing of the first zone is completed today, an RNS could appear on Monday morning. I'm sure that traders won't want to take the risk of missing that. | the guardian

10/11/2017 10:38 | no news is good news, IMO. If they had screwed it up, they would have RNS's it by now... | currypasty
10/11/2017 10:36 | Rutter, if you remember, they were waiting for high pressure testing equipment to be delivered to site, which was the first delay. They then cautiously and sensibly decided to pressure test the equipment before putting it to use and some items failed the tests and needed replacing. The work is being carried out safely and professionally, which is why slippages will occur. Surely you can see the benefit of doing that as opposed to steaming ahead and losing the well. I do agree however that it would have been comforting if the company had told us where they were at in the testing process. | the guardian
10/11/2017 10:35 | No news is Bad news in these situations always | brimsley
10/11/2017 10:25 | Fron RNS 4th October. " The casing perforations for the first reservoir flow test are anticipated to take place towards the end of October 2017." This is why I assumed that some results would be coming through. | rutter
10/11/2017 09:39 | lol........... | birotop
10/11/2017 09:35 | Well the 'stay strong' mantra was widely wheeled out at UKOG 9p and also here at 30p many other examples weekly look what happened, that has to be the worst advice any bagholder can read and is a Sell 101 | brimsley
10/11/2017 09:31 | Some chunky 50k plus buy's going through today. Hopefully may go blue before the day's out. GLA | short6
10/11/2017 09:25 | Rutter - what made you think that was the timetable? The Company never said that. If you anslyse across all similar Oil & Gas projects at this stage the same thing always happens without fail. Investors make up their own timetable based on nothing other than something they've dreamt up in their own head and then when no news is issued within that imaginary timetable they start to worry and get conned by MM's into selling their stock too cheap only to find if they were just a little more patient, the news comes a few days later and if good, the share price reacts upwards accordingly. Everyone here needs to chill out and just wait and see what happens in the next few days. I too HOPED news would be here by now, but am not worried it hasn't. Stay strong and good luck! | bobby1904
10/11/2017 09:06 | No one Spencer that is the point ;-) | starzerus

10/11/2017 08:38 | Who is Brimsey? Never heard of him.. | spencermd
10/11/2017 08:29 | Im sure Brimsey will want to update his previous post and inform this board that although SGC did fall on the realisation by their punters that no news was forthcoming, and you could buy a few at 0.145, that it recovered strongly to the close, and finished at 0.160 | currypasty |
