You state there are question marks over all 3 assets. You imply that the market sees no value here as a result. I mention the unprecedented chaos of economic uncertainty (arguably an influential factor in people's financial decision making, no?). But rather than acknowledge the macroeconomic maelstrom of our current situation being the possible reason for a lack of confident bulls piling in and don't spare the horses, you question the quality of the opportunity, as if something specific to Empyrean is to blame for a lull in the share price. You even go as far as to suggest I'm agreeing with you, and that you're being targeted for being negative and even that what you state is reality. How bold! I'm not rallying against your perceived negativity. I'm pointing out that what you say is blinkered.

So, you agree cmackay. Operating on a shoestring, the economy in tatters, poor communication. Those are facts. If people are not interested with a market cap of £23,000,000 how good is the opportunity? Many a company has gone down with good assets but lots of debt and/or little cash. I get that some people rally against any comment that is perceived as negative to the investment case. It doesn’t change the reality. Buffy

Let's ignore the most uncertain economic landscape ever, conveniently.

Basically there are question marks over all three assets. Compare with, say TXP or JSE... Clearly many are not interested in huge multi-baggers. You’d think there would be a stream of buyers with a market cap under £24m. They must all be wrong of course. Buffy

Think the sales from the last few days is nearly cleaned and we could recovery back to 7p. If its a short position, they will burn and we get to 10p.

one way or t'other Duyung will be monetised and we will see the benefits. I think TK mentioned that there's always the possibility of selling part of the Duyung stake which would I guess pay for our contribution to development costs. There is no way that Duyung will not be a very profitable project, so whichever way one looks at it there will be benefits coming back to shareholders. Re China - there are a lot of big players out in the SCS area, and they will all be aware of what EME have identified and will want a share of it. It's very clear that Saudi can't flood the market, they've tried it twice and it just destroys their profits and only has a short term effect on US drilling. They seem to have now come to understand this and are desperate to get the PoO back higher by entering into Opec+ agreements to reduce the oversupply. I see news this morning of Russian output falling by 16% and also US production has dropped to around 10mmbpd from near 12mmbpd. All oil experts are pointing towards reduction in oversupply, economies bouncing back and oil demand improving. China will want their own resources producing so they don't have to import so I'm pretty certain they will want to see EME drilling sooner rather than later. Current EME share price movements are quite volatile due to imho there being a general lack of buyers and sellers, hence as soon as a big buyer comes in the share price shoots up and vice versa. Once we get some newsflow we will really know which way we're heading and if the potential thus far identified achieves even 50% then the share price will be way north of here. aimho dyor
