16/11/2016 09:51 | Certain fools may be correct in stating it's all priced in. That's why the share has plummeted from 1950 ( where a certain fool bought ) to the current 1080p. As the market further assimilates the bleak figures, lowered PBT, significant decline in ROC and reduction in revenue despite higher passenger numbers, looks like a very bumpy ride lays ahead. Back to the kiddies' colouring crayons for our resident fool. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
16/11/2016 09:44 | I see the coward has returned :)All priced in QP Also, are you aware that the 'winter flying period' is actually a well-known annual event? What happened to the divi in past years? | suffersnofools
16/11/2016 09:34 | when is the 55p dividend paid? ex? | larva
16/11/2016 09:21 | LOL I take it that you are on your final warning QuePassa? ;-) | tlobs2
16/11/2016 09:02 | They cut the final dividend yesterday for full year ending september, in case no-one noticed. It is interesting to ponder what they will do with the dividend for the first six months of the current/new financial year, October to March which is the significantly less profitable winter flying period than summer. A few facts. - Passengers increased by 6.6% but Revenue DECLINED. - An enormous fall in PROFIT BEFORE TAX by 28%. - PBT DECLINED by a WHOPPING £190Million from £686m to £495million -BASIC EARNINGS PER SHARE PLUMMETED by a MASSIVE 22% - RETURN ON CAPITAL DIVED BY A JAW-DROPPING 7.6% These figures are pretty bleak in my opinion with nearly all leading indicators showing significant falls. The thesis remains that higher passenger numbers do not mean higher profitability. Indeed the contrary is true. The cut-throat discounting and massive excess capacity is really beginning to take its toll on the sector in my view. And is going to get much worse as many airlines all start bringing on new capacity into an already oversupplied market. The discounting and surging additional capacity being brought on stream by so many airlines will continue to exacerbate an already bad operating environment. If anyone thinks it's all party time and flag-waving going forward, they have got it badly, sadly wrong. 1950p to 1100p is dreadful share price performance over 18 months, despite certain fools thinking it is good. With such great challenges within the sector, everyone will continue to be in for a very bumpy ride ahead for some time to come. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
16/11/2016 08:53 | Chief - let's be positive about this! I don't care alongside it stays from this point as I'm back in profit. | 19bells

16/11/2016 08:15 | We all get things wrong from time to time, my portfolio always seems to have red ink somewhere. It's just a shame that sometimes people sneak off rather than manning up and saying "hey chaps, I got that one wrong".Sort of stuffs up your credibility for next time if you just disappear when things go against you.... | pulsey
16/11/2016 08:14 | You better on cry You better in hide Cos £15 will be here by Christmas Merry Christmas Q! | 19bells

15/11/2016 22:10 | Thanks srpactive, to be honest I know shorting is part of the game but it's not something I do or like, you can tell when companies are in trouble doesn't mean you should make money out of those who have invested hoping for a return, yes give an honest option warn others if you genuinely believe in what you say but doom doom doom is not needed, these have made me and many others here good money with honest opinons, the size of easyjet what we say is not going to move the price either way it's too big, but we can help each other by pointing out positives and negatives if we know of them, yes let's hope for a flat open then a quick ride to £11 and beyond gla | csmwssk12hu
15/11/2016 21:31 | Very well done here, csmwssk12hu you sound like Tony Craze. You are correct though. regards active | srpactive
15/11/2016 21:11 | I agree tlobs2. Yes it's not been the best few months and I was out of the money however what I do resent its QP and his alias talking down, not replying to points , quoting Liberum day after day . Yes we all said its a tough market but this company had ideas and will weather the sort term headwinds for the reasons stated. Now QP and his friends can't even comment have just run away . R | mastey
15/11/2016 21:09 | It's been a very good day! Hopefully this forum can return to some normalisation. With facts being quoted without the need of people bending the truth to try and find negativity | lucas5950
15/11/2016 20:52 | Could I just say well done to all the long term "believers" who had a reasonable day today and didn't gloat or take the *iss out of the doom mongers who have said over a sustained period that the company were doomed. If several of them have had their fingers burnt shorting this over the past few days then so be it. Tomorrow and the day after it might be their @rses when it hits 1200p :-) | tlobs2
15/11/2016 16:01 | Do we make it over 1100 by end of day? Hmmm could do | lucas5950
15/11/2016 15:57 | A n Q butt raped - enjoy the ride boys | mbmiah
15/11/2016 15:55 | I've realised how Andy makes money from shoring these, he places the shorts with an Irish broker | csmwssk12hu
15/11/2016 15:25 | strap yourselves in going over 1100 | tattooed93
15/11/2016 15:25 | Headline from news Easyjet brushes off brexit and continues expanding Confidence in the business keeps us higher £10 to £12 quickly, £12-£14 even quicker imho dyor , then we will see resistance and will trade in a range around £14 imho | csmwssk12hu
15/11/2016 15:18 | That's 1% less than two weeks ago, charts are there to be read go back to when they were 873p I said the mood had changed, think the bottom was about 850p it was there for the shorts to see, why didn't they, simple, greed. You can't call tops and bottoms but as long as you get close and leave something for the next guy you won't go far wrong. | csmwssk12hu
15/11/2016 15:16 | Looking Good ! | chinese investor
15/11/2016 15:12 | Just noticed that most of those listed holding significant short positions have started to reduce. There are still however a whopping 4.24% of shares in EasyJet that still must be purchased by the forced buyers and that excludes the private and smaller investors who are currently no doubt starting to panic :-) Both QuePassa and Andy have left the building.... | tlobs2
15/11/2016 15:01 | Lads and lasses, ignore the comments from Pipkin. He has called this incorrectly on at least five occasions so far and somehow always claims to have been able to get out with a modest profit which is pretty impressive from a short when the price has been consistently rising!!! Yeah right Pinocchio ....... | tlobs2 |
