There was a prediction before early in the forum with, Clinton win = EZJ up, Trump win = EZJ downI'm glad EZJ is holding on strong. Perfect storm to have dollar down and sterling up, along with fuel costs down. Win win for EZJ. Hopefully this should push us back up to £12

The over reaction across the market appears to be fading as several of my stocks have turned blue. I fully expect EasyJet to continue its steady rise fuelled in part by the falling dollar and the rumours currently doing the rounds.

And as I type Ezyjet is blue .....

Great news for building companies who are preparing themselves for a 2,000 mile wall between the US and Mexico that Trump has said Mexico will pay for. Good luck with getting that invoice cleared Donald.

Just think of all the flights required to get the people and infrastructure in place for that little lot ;-)

I guess no one but me stayed up for this so don't know what it will be like at 8am but right now 99% chance trump ftse -325 pound up to 1.2533 gold up $50 oil down 3% so similar to brexit but completely different, oil shares will get hammered, gold miners gonna soar, foreign earnings companies going to fall and UK based should rise , expect to see the shares that rose post brexit to fall and those that fell to rise all imho dyor

Ig numbers Clinton leads ftse up 60 trump leads ftse down 60 only thing I don't understand is I think trump will be very friendly towards business because of his background, Clinton will be more of the same all I want to know is what's it gonna do to easyjet shares ? Realistically nothing?

Tlobs - interesting point - selective posting to mislead investors is much more likely to fall foul of the regulator than linking and posting content that is public domain verbatim.

Thanks QPI appreciate that being short in an undervalued stock that is subject to bid speculation is uncomfortable but when you finally close out, take the loss and go long you'll sleep a lot better.
