15/11/2016 07:52 | I'm tempted to unfilter tslob to read his rubbish, but I wont. The future is looking very difficult for this airline, as the CEO has just stated. I anticipate a large fall today. | andy pipkin
15/11/2016 07:23 | Andy ask your care worker to read out some of the details ........... Record number of passengers at 73.1 million, up 6.6% year on year with record load factor at 91.6% (2015: 91.5%), reflecting easyJet's resilient business model and ability to drive demand, even in challenging markets Oh and .... In line with the stated dividend policy of a payout ratio of 50% of profit after tax, the Board is recommending an ordinary dividend of GBP214 million or 53.8 pence per share which is subject to shareholder approval at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 9 February 2017. This will be paid on 17 March 2017 to shareholders on the register at close of business on 24 February 2017. And Lest We Forget QuePassa .... During the period the average market jet fuel price fell by 32.9% to $415 per tonne from $619 per tonne in the previous year. The operation of easyJet's fuel and US Dollar hedging policy meant that the average effective fuel price movement only saw a decrease of 13.4% to GBP479 per tonne from GBP553 per tonne in the previous year. "Looking ahead, the easyJet model remains strong as does the demand environment and we continue to see opportunities in the medium term to grow revenue, profit and shareholder returns. In a tougher operating environment strong airlines like easyJet will get stronger and we will build on our already well-established network. "Almost half of our growth next year will be in the UK, with significant growth also in Switzerland, France and Italy. Our strategy of strengthening our positions at our key airports will see double digit growth in key bases in London, Manchester, Venice, Berlin and Amsterdam." :-) | tlobs2

14/11/2016 14:37 | That wouldn't have been Andy that's for sure. His strategy involves waiting until the price has almost hit the bottom before opening his short :-) | tlobs2

12/11/2016 17:59 | I would say they opposite if you expect them to fall you may be pleasantly surprised | csmwssk12hu
12/11/2016 13:07 | Thanks SNF,Forecasts I've seen show a fall in earnings. Will research some more.Appreciate your feedback.DD | discodave4
12/11/2016 12:13 | Disco - If you believe there will be a 15-20% drop in earnings then don't invest. I'd expect an increase in earnings next year of between 5-10% based on stronger pound and fuel cost savings that we already know about from the 2017 hedged position. | suffersnofools
12/11/2016 12:04 | This years profit before tax say at the upper end of their forecast, £495m, tax say 12%, eps about 109p. Next year possible 15% to 20% drop in earnings so eps about 90p, with an average PE of 12 (that's generous given it's about 9 now), so 2017 fair value about 1080 (only about 2% capital return, ok div yield not too bad though).Anything I may be missing here that would persuade me to invest?. Not currently holding and just researching.ThanksDD | discodave4
11/11/2016 22:44 | £12 will be quick, markets have struggled since yesterday morning and this has continued to climb imho dyor | csmwssk12hu
