Still trying hard to get things over the line, unfortunately not all people are as committed in this very busy time for families. I am sure you will be fine. :) #santa

The deal is we have real graphene (Nanene)and it looks like no one else does at the moment. Obviously, NR thought there would be further deals announced before Christmas but not everyone works right up until the last moment before the holidays. I believe it is odds on there will be further deal announcements soon after people return to work in the New Year. The current price has to be a steal given the amount of interest building in our products.

I believe NR is a decent man who perhaps has said a little too much in his tweets but that is a learning process for him no doubt. What I believe is that he is completely trustworthy and has shareholders uppermost in mind when he is doing deals etc.

I have bought more today at these prices and feel sure I will reap significant rewards next year.

Oh BTW

Funny how William Game left Cantor after his lying note on Directa plus to help his brother out (reported to the FCA). I wonder if he got the boot due to that. :-)

Two possible technical plays here. The share price continues to the Flag support around 45p. Or finds support around 53p and breaks the flag resistance.

Think if I'd been short from 70/80 I'd be closing today.

lol jh, hopefully there won't be any breakdowns on here IF that does happen, depends when the shorts lose their nerve or feel uncomfortable.

Interesting the US tax reforms passed , lots of money will pour back into the pockets over there.

I think LM and the shorters have called the sentiment switch in VRS spot on. I guess he knew but took the risk if NR and VRS didnt deliver another contract as had been built into the share price then the share price would take a beating..

Thabk you Vasilis, Superg1 and others clarifying the questionable aspects of Directa products that their bike tyre customer appears to think is real graphene, but sounds like isn't.

Yesterday I came across some reference to '2-8'layer' in their descriptions, but I couldn't find it again to check 'layers of what'.

But having googled 2-8 layer Directa just now, I see that someone called Margy Robinson has blogged an explanatory assessment which - as she says - does not equate to actual graphene.

(half way down page)

Unfortunately, with so many past uses of the word graphene across the internet over several years, the fact that almost all do not meet the ISO standard published in September, means that the mis-applied terminolgy is going to continue circulating for years. Customers like Vittoria are not going to enjoy being told that their belief they are using graphene is illfounded.

A clear pattern can be seen on the JC charts. a 4-5 day period of consolidation followed by a breakdown.

surely the point is a ceo shouldn't suggest anything either true or otherwise if he wants to be respected in the future.thats the point of an rns

Well said Rid

Obviously I'm far more confident than many due to my vast pot of info built up.

There is no way the CEO would do that unless things were imminent, BUT as he and others always say the final hurdle is generally beyond their control.

Final signatures can take days, weeks or months, you can only guess on go on guidance from those at the other end.

When it comes to ranges on the SPs in and out it's a pointless argument. nation can think Ohhh I wish I'd sold all in the 80's and now I could have bought in the 50s

It can't be done in numbers.

Eg if someone had sold out entirely at the top where would they have called the entry point while expecting news and getting a large holding back with big news and the herd arriving is nigh on impossible

It's pointless thinking it can be done for the larger investments which in some individual cases runs into millions of shares.

Those larger holders have done their research.

All this advent calendar stuff is childish. We got two big deals in that space so there has hardly been disappointment. What it does when the punters sell on this "disappointment" is create a decent price to top up at.

This is a serious business that will grow over years, not in a 24 day period before Christmas. I will continue to invest on that basis.

As I am not a regular on the day to day chat here, I'll wish all VRS investors the greatest Christmas and a Happy 2018 (and beyond) for VRS (plus all my other shares)!

Grantley

Swings and roundabouts there.

It created some hangers on that are not true investors and clears them out before actual news comes along.

It's just matter of time until £1 and beyond kicks in due to everything in the pipeline. Last signatures are the key and this time of year I imagine it's not easy to pull everyone together.

By looking at purchase prices, bids and asks, it seems some big numbers are being bought by those who were waiting for this retrace to enter/re-enter. Not a bad move, smart one rather.

JR and Grantley. My point is exactly the point that both of you are making. This share is falling on anticipated news not happening but, given the news we do know, the share price should not be this weak based on the disappointment that a metaphorical Advent Calender has not been opened in the last week! Value investing should be based on analysis, not Christmas treats?

Clearly, NR was hoping(expecting) something to break before Christmas and who knows what tomorrow might bring? What we already know, however, should place this Company at a £100m + market cap. This should be the criteria governing whether to hold or sell, not some short term 'Advent' event, that will almost certainly happen in the New Year in any event.

As Harold MacMillan once said. "Events dear boy, Events."

No data sheets but a corporate presentation describes the pristine end as

'While the thickness is below 3-5 nm'

So that is in the 9-15 layer range so in that can nothing that have will fit the ISO standard recently out.

Elsewhere the best was mentioned as a few nm, much of what they do is higher layer.

This isn't news to me but someone raised it I've known about them and lack of real data for some time.
