Just to say many thanks for everyone’s useful input over the last few months ...enjoyed the banter and the odd brawl or two....I have learnt a little off some of the professional types...much more to learn ! ( like relax on the sharp downturns !)

All this week I've had the sneaky thought that NR might just pop out the RNS as the market closes tomorrow, so that we (and the analysts) can all savour the prospects over our Christmas turkey and come back raring to go when the markets open.Just a thought.. WTF? I stopped for petrol and VRS was -8.3%, I get home, flick ADVFN on, and we finished nearly 6% up?My eyebrow has raised considerably!

Don't think we need an RNS tomorrow after today's reversal. Keep it until early Jan please :-)

That's a counterfactual because you will never know how much greater the share price would be if Institutions were at their desks

The biggest one day move came on VRS from an early week RNS

If the news is good enough and does come out tomorrow you just watch the action. I certainly will not blame Neill if it doesn't arise, but I will sure will thank him if it does, having topped up again this pm in the mid fifties.

As to the timing being bad because everyone is preoccupied with Christmas. Just look to see what has happened in the last hour of trading today to see that theory is a false premise.

So tell me why you think Neills latest tweets point to tomorrow? My take is he has told us that “unfortunately not all people are as committed in this very busy time for families”. His tweet today that “everyone is so far behind the company in terms of news”...

If people interpret these tweets as an RNS is landing tomorrow then you cannot blame Neill when it doesn’t arrive ;)

I have a large long holding so will be very happy if a nice RNS does appear tomorrow but think it’s better to manage expectations. To be honest a January RNS when the investing community are paying more attention would be better anyways...

I can't see why any RNS tomorrow is an advantage to anyone. It would be like a damp squib with the market/investors/professionals mostly packing up.

Surely the first few days of the trading year?

Or is there no choice with the timing?

We can never guarantee an RNS but 3 points:

1.Tomorrow is last chance for an advent event.

2. Neill has had a lot of stick for tweet hinting so why risk more with his latest teweet

3. Neill will have put all the pressure he could on any deal before Christmas so that he does not feel he would let his shareholders down.

I shouldn’t rely upon tomorrow, we now know it’s easy for some to misinterpret Twitter comments, however i’m sure there will be another nice RNS in January.
