A Christmas message from one of the wise men ;-)

The Directors believe the Acquisition presents an exciting opportunity for Versarien to acquire a business with complementary skills and operations to the Company's current graphene activities, particularly with Cambridge Graphene's existing expertise and opportunities in the graphene ink area.Like the Company's existing subsidiary, 2-DTech, born out of the University of Manchester, Cambridge Graphene was born out of the University of Cambridge to commercialise the university's graphene expertise. The Universities of Manchester and Cambridge are the two centres of excellence for graphene in the UK. Following the acquisition of Cambridge Graphene, both universities will be shareholders in the Company, positioning Versarien at the epicenter of the commercial development of graphene both in the UK and globally.

lansdowne Chemicals, a member of the Overlack Group, is a chemical distribution, manufacturing and marketing company with two UK sites and operations in Europe, Asia and the USA. The agreement, which will be for an initial six months and thereafter terminable on three months notice, will help accelerate Versarien's route to market for Nanene by enabling Lansdowne Chemicals to target customers which Versarien currently has no relationship with.

when the revenue contracts start to roll in?

Weren't they due at least 2 years ago?

Here is a RNS from nearly 3 years ago 16th Feb 2017 about a Nanene distribution agreement

Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "Now that we have proven capacity and capability to produce Nanene we need to get this new product to market as quickly as possible, to as many as possible and by every appropriate route. The agreement with Lansdowne Chemicals will be an important development for us and we are pleased to have secured the support of a significant global chemical distributor. They are extremely well known to us and we look forward to utilising their distribution channels, especially in Europe."

So nearly 3 years ago they had the best graphene, proven capacity and capability and a massive european distribution partner. Since then they've sold ermmmm almost none!

19/12 podcast @ 8:20+ :'pushing ahead with these five great opportunities that are nearing the end of their current development and commercialisation journey' - where will the naysayers go with their negativity when the revenue contracts start to roll in? Will they still mention the Admission Document? :)

Why are Roman concrete structures still standing after 2000 years where modern structures aren’t lasting 100, despite steel supports? Could #Graphene be the answer to this? @UoMGraphene #GEIC @UoM_MACE

Re: 'If NR needs cash and has shares to sell then good on him as he has worked so bloody hard' Quite agree - however, if NR sold shares at this stage i.e. on the cusp of a as yet unproven commercialisation i.e. no material revenue contracts. What message would this send to the market regardless of the whys and wherefores. Negative interpretation? pessimistic sentiment? VRS is my share of 2020 after the highly disappointing share price performance (so far) of 2019.
