Andy, I have some sympathy with your last post but what we have here is not an alternative view but a deliberate attempt to undermine Versarien using any means possible including lies and deceit

-------

John,

Yes, and people can filter those posters whose posts they don't wish to read very easily.

If you and superg leave the thread, for example, those posters you are complaining about will still be here so there's nothing to gain by leaving, quite the opposite in fact.

Richardh, I have no special role in any but, IMO, establishing a record of knowledge of VRS and of making informed and considered posts here over a period of time would be a good basis for applying. This can be an excellent forum of course - it is up to those of good will to ensure that it is, by their informed contributions. Hope that helps.

SCRUTABLE with your life experience of investing in pioneering companies like VRS and your level headed approach to investing which, if any, of the so called top VRS 5 do you see crossing the commercialisation line in 2020?

clint, I would wholeheartedly agree, which is why many of us continue to post here (though perhaps less frequently).

I would agree with scottishfield, this board is not a lost cause by any means, indeed I genuinely believe that before long we will actually be able to return here to have decent conversations about VRS.

For me, it's incredibly sad that some of us have felt that we have had to move elsewhere in order to enjoy proper discussion without having to read obscenities and the like. I know I could filter but in honesty I do prefer to be aware of what is being said. Right now, I'm lucky enough to be able to choose and allot my time between the two as I wish.

Thank you SCRUTABLE, and very nice to see a few of your posts today. Please don't stop. The thread is not a 'lost cause' I think. It's still a go-to for me despite the 'difficulties'.

You have made the point, if it again needs making about the 'relatively long lapse time..' So has Alchemy, and someone else before him, laginaneil is one. I could not agree more. I have quite a few VRS shares' seldom if ever, by various means have I ever researched a Company more, and held my shares over what has become a very testing year indeed. Usually this drift would be met by me with, if not a wholesale selling, at least a reduction. Very often I have done it, sometimes regretting it. In every case the share has not been as researched, by myself, as this one has. Nor have I held so many as this one. My trust in the management here has not diminished, but of course, like others here have mentioned, the more you hold the more those thoughts of diminishing returns prevail. It's not easy. I wish it were. I try to be strong.
Roll on 2020. Best of luck to all long termers here, we deserve it.

obbig60 - excuse me for saying but you have the wrong impression of how Twitter can be used. It is possible to have discussion groups very similar to this where you can chat away to your heart's content...what makes it better is that it is a private group so we can chat more openly amongst friends without having to worry that the discussion will be purposefully misused and reported maliciously. Actually makes for a much more sensible discussion.

I'm still wrestling with accurate positioning of VRS in my mind, so I'm keeping the season's greetings back an hour or two. Trust you're ok with that! And that you're up to responding.I think maybe I should be rowing back from my post that was well received (52 upticks) of £5 by January 31st? But I'm bullish , timing er not perhaps so good!Does anyone have any idea or fact that allows me to spot whether the 12kilo order for the US energy company was in the interims? The Interim Results were to September 30th , and so we're now half way to the next cut off date of March and I trust that the announcement of the full year will be the last where we focus ,mainly ,on the accompanying forward looking statements. I can't see quantums of revenue before then. I can see the trickles starting though.Of the announcements we expect China is qualitatively different because of a quantitative dimension - investment monies. That's where "my scintilla of doubt" rests in fact. Will if really happen soon? I'd like the cash to allow us to address things in that hopper! And to get us noticed more. Now turning to Concrete ..staggering amounts being used . But looking at speed of take up how "backwards compatible"is AECOM's offering to the procedures that apply to current concrete. I mean in the area of those special lorries, drying times, preparation etcetera. The cost of adoption could affect the speed of adoption.Ok that's it for now. Best to all.

I’ve got a tiny strategic bear in tsla but have made lots of money in nflx as shorted at 370 bucks and covered at 290 bucks

Yeah right, and all in 2 hours 45 minutes.

superg1..would you consider putting back the chart which shows the bid and offer. I find that so much more informative than just the mid price one. My thanks if you do and thank you for all your valuable posts over the years. TM

VRS you say has "no more than a bunch of collaborations that you'd see at any aim £20m tech company......."

I thought that you were mathematically literate. You have unwittingly endorsed a higher value for VRS than it is currently rated at. A tech company judged by the market to be worth £20m but which has no revenue already has IP worth £20m -less its physical assets. Even if it only has a 10% probability of success its IP and intangible assets will be worth a few £million. VRS already has more than 50 such collaborations with encouraging results, and their probable values are additive. They need on average not to be worth more than £3m each to justify, at the very minimum, currently, a share price above 150p ( = cap of £230m)

In fact they are not of equal probability. The AECOM satisfactory testing outcome already stands at least at 50% in probable outcome multiplied by the value of the potential business. The other satisfactory tests of textile yarns, and drilling heads if their potential were separately quoted would be worth far more than £3m each. As soon as TFL orders the arches to support signalling for the dire situation in the London Underground, the DCF value of that business to VRS will shoot up IMO by at least £50m. You would be wise to buy now and foolish to sell.
