20/12/2019 08:44 | Just a load of ole collaborations, treading water, month after month. If you want a stock with greater prospects imo, look at recently listed Trackwise Designs (TWD) Floated around 115, went to 140, sold off to 60, now back on track 80p Another one that will have a higher share price that these imo Still waiting above the near impossible to break 130p resistance. | ![]() ny boy
20/12/2019 08:43 | Obbig I'm trying to catch up, I always seem to be 2 days behind, I still haven't read the interims in full. At last there is a viable user friendly option for engaging with other PIs and it's twitter on messages. I hope over time that availability starts to decimate ADVFN BB activity, you guys should try it if you are not doing so already. I have removed myself from 2 threads as I can't keep up and do justice in replies, I'm just chasing my tail all the time and I miss what others are putting out there. I believe VRS will do very well in the next year or two and thus I have already postponed other non stock market investments for a few years as nothing I can do is going to be anywhere near the returns I will get on VRS. I haven't had chance to fully read the interims yet, there is no need but I want to pick up on wording following on from the interviews, as it seems to me material commercial deals are going to start to appear in H1. When that happens the funds on the sidelines then have the box ticked to invest, forecasts can be made and big funds will start to appear in the knowledge that VRS is starting it's revenue generation mode with an absolutely massive line of enquiries that can produce significant revenue growing year on year. The likes of which have never been seen on the AIM before. So the header removal is a nudge for some to start there own engagement and their own message system. I suggest twitter messaging and just invite your friends. I've used ADVFN for years as other formats have not been user friendly and most end up migrating back to ADVFN. Well there is a much better viable option now. I detest ADVFN and the bent guys that are involved with it. | ![]() superg1
20/12/2019 08:35 | Much mention has been made of the role that graphene and other new materials will play in the development of electric vehicles - in the lightweighting of components and in the performance of batteries. But it isn't just road vehicles and trains. At Staverton, 4 miles away from Versarien's HQ, something else is happening: | ![]() grabster

20/12/2019 03:03 | And that’s only half of it :-) Choo choo Reforms to the railway system are also proposed, while a research funding agency is planned that would be modelled on a US agency that created the forerunner to the internet. In his forward to the speech, Johnson said: 'We will release the country from the stranglehold of indecision restoring confidence to people and businesses.' Stephen Phipson, chief executive at Make UK, the manufacturers' organisation, said: 'There is much that manufacturers will welcome in the speech with a number of measures designed to support business growth, ensure the UK is at the forefront of tackling climate change and, in particular, improve the UK's productivity performance. 'In particular, industry will welcome plans to boost R&D, infrastructure investment and skills which is a critical factor for manufacturers right across the UK.' Sarah Collins, director of RIFT Research and Development, said: 'We are delighted to hear the new government has committed to increasing research and development tax credits to help innovative businesses thrive. 'It is a relief that benefits UK business to the tune of over £4billion each year and can be worth hundreds of thousands of pounds to those companies investing in tech, research and new ways of working. 'It's fair to say that the starting pistol has been fired by Boris Johnson.' Ff | ![]() forestfred
20/12/2019 02:58 | Food for thought . Anyone else want to joint the dots . As the Queen's Speech was delivered to Parliament, the Prime Minister promised 'the biggest infrastructure revolution in living memory' and vowed to double spending on science. Among the measures being proposed are higher tax credits to support research and development, a National Skills Fund to help people switch careers, a fresh strategy for the space industry and a major boost to the roll-out of cutting-edge broadband across the country. Glad I’m invested here :-) Ff | ![]() forestfred

19/12/2019 23:36 | The same word can mean different things in different contexts. Positive recommendation of a share should simply be understood to suggest that you will find it unusually interesting to spend more time on the research of it than on other shares. I follow up most 'Tips' though most prove to be undistinctive and very many are 'stinkers' Only one in a few hundred is worth buying by my own criteria, although yours may be different to mine... In any case ALWAYS (Festarien)DYOR and note that timing is critical. Delay may be to lose an opportunity - or to see it improved since attention was drawn to it. | ![]() scrutable
19/12/2019 22:58 | £10k 3 month bet is a ridiculous proposal. VRS are insiders and for the mere mortals, why would anyone take on a short term bet when the outcome is decided by unknown factors and third party agendas and influences? The long term bet backing a successful outcome is to own VRS shares of course. AIMHO | lovat scout
19/12/2019 22:18 | Lost even more today Nicholas I see with Tesla now up over the 400 dollar mark. Have you closed your loss yet or still meeting the margin calls? 19/12/2019 21:37 | We're all role models whether we want to be or not, and Neill is showing us the way through honesty, integrity and community (just look at the shenanigans at BIDS this week, then ask yourself whose side Neill is on). Forestfred - thanks for reminding us that a game of football played under rather different circumstances can bring people together, and let's get on with supporting each other and the stellar opportunity in front of all of us for 2020 and beyond | ![]() matheus7777

19/12/2019 21:24 | Evening all. Many of are very excited with the progress of VRS. To be honest I do not understand some investors. If you do not like the share, no one is forcing you to buy, if you continue with derisory remarks, it suggests that must be a financial reason. CS and some are impatient for orders and I do understand, we all wanting sales and profits. Neill has made a couple of podcasts and 2020 looks to be an exceptional year ahead. With projects of this magnitude, you have to wait for events to fall into place. As Neill has pointed out, we are not far away, I am sure you understand that Neill can not go into London Transport and say get a move on. I am going to have a very happy Christmas, my financial position is not as favourable as was hoped at the beginning of 2019, but that is life. I am as sure as I can be that 2020 is going to be wonderful for all long term holders. | ![]() rogerbridge
