So in 9 hours ratpat999 leaves to follow his retirement dream of sailing his broadblue catamaran,this year around the med, a shareholder since around the 19p days, still holding more than I do .. a dream enabled far more comfortably thanks to Versarien. Some years ago, I worked in DC for four years. I dealt with the DOD (J5, J3), sometimes State and also on a few UN aid contracts. Met many ex-DOD ‘Beltway Bandits’! Learned quickly that they could, as a body, talk the talk (BS masters) but also learned that with the majority, having left their service, their integrity could be bought by the highest bidder; I could really trust only a few. PA is not a ‘Beltway Bandit’ and I expect that Neill did his DD and got references from those he trusts; therefore, I believe PA will be OK. However, my full trust will still have to be earned by performance, within budget.

Does anyone know how PA's VRS role sits alongside his interest in his marketing co'? I assume that if he's now 100% focussed on VRS he's handed the reins of Global Marketing Empire Solutions to A.N.Other? Or is he wearing multiple hats?

21st March Patrick Abbott announced as USA VP to “be based at the company’s Houston facility once established”.

24th March Patrick hosts corporate hospitality day.

25th March Patrick tweets photos of Houston office and views from the conference room.
He adds "and to shareholders, all at a greater than 50% discounted economic price based on my years of patronage!!!"

He also tweets "Dinner on me tonight as we return to the Woodlands, check on clients, and head to the lobby PUB. Who's with me?"
This suggests that he already has employees.

He further announces that there will be meetings with top level companies this weekend.

26th March He announces that office telephones and admin functions will go live on April 1st.

sandbag - OK. I will happily break that million down into a more relevant smaller rider if someone can find me the stats covering all the UK companies that might be regarded as falling within Collins' area of interest. ;-)

Thanks for the link to the Collins article and photo.
However to say that VRS was chosen from a million Limited Companies whilst being true is the sort of misinformation the trolls would come up with. Yes, there are a million companies but Collins are hardly likely to invite bakers, roofers, landscape gardners etc., so they've actually been invited from a much smaller pool. Still great that they have though.
