What did Ian Cowie go on to say about Versarien in yesterday's Sunday Times?

As a non-subscriber online I can only read as far as "But graphene — the wonder material promoted by Versarien — was originally isolated in Britain and might also be commercially exploited here, so I am hanging on. Because .."

Or is that just a cached repeat of his previous comment? (It came in among my email alerts as part of his article yesterday headed beer sales)

"Good Morning Neill, how confident are you that VRS Graphene will confirm to the ISO standards and particularly that published so far? Thats if you can reply without breaking any rules. thanks again for a brilliant job so far."

The iso publication will ensure the npl will characterise to these standards at geic of course. So that the 100+ industrial partners will know what's what. Vrs 2D materials sitting pretty. As neill says, game on there ! Aimo. Best ellis

I think that DK was going to do it but maybe Patrick will. Or it could be the Dynamic Duo!

Woody, if Neill isn’t in N Carolina today, do we assume that Patrick is doing the Collins presentation? Or DK?

Good morning all.

Last night we had a new poster on HC called AdVersarien who apparently knows Superg1, he provided the following statement from the REACH Graphene approval,

Type: ConstituentTest material
form: solid: nanomaterialDetails on test material:
- Surface area of particles: 750 m2/g - Density: 0.2 g/mL
- Average lateral dimension: <2 µm
- Average thickness: 20-30 layers

If FGR's graphene has a average thickness of 20-30 layers and a surface area of 750m2 per gram,

What thickness is Nanene when it only has surface area of only 45m2 per gram?
Can we assume this is 16x thicker?

Adversarien, I did look on the link you provided, I couldn't find that information, under what section did you find the SSA, lateral size and thickness?

Edit: does any one know who Ad Versarien is? I am assuming he is a poster on ADVFN, he certainly has been watching my posts. Can someone ask on the private twitter group?

The CTO job has been up for ages too. The vrs careers page is tracked by the waybackmachine if you want to check it out. I use web.archive.org all the time to track when companies websites change over time.

Yes it is. That's what Gnanomats tests indicated. X4 capacity compared to next best in the market.

So it looks to me like we are heading into a fairly important week for the company:

We have the ISO new, LONG awaited, just out...

Chinese news, also very positive this weekend...

'The Company is pleased to be participating in the UK Government organised "UK Technology and Capability Showcase" being held at Collins Aerospace in Charlotte, North Carolina, on 25 March 2019 where the Company will be presenting its 2D materials technology to Collins Aerospace representatives.'

If Neill isn't going to that then based on his affirmations that the US is his baby this year I can only suspect that he has a busy week ahead...time will tell...
