Smithy - does Haydale have the government on board helping them negotiate a production deal in China? I think not...

Now onto the filter list with you!

I'm hoping there'll be a comprehensive break down of what the extra funds will be used for!

I know it sounds really sad especially when there are e-mail alerts available, but it adds to my Monday to Friday mornings. I go on to the London Stock Exchange website between 07:05 - 07:10 then click RNS view all, then go to the highest numbered page and work back to page 1 hoping one page will reveal a VRS notification - perhaps today and yes one day I may get a life :)

Let me just check the veracity of that, fittingly it shouldn't take a nanosecond,

and the answer is predictably, err, no.

Smithy

I see in your historic posts you say take a look at Haydale re an example of one that fell back.

I did very thoroughly and warned people to gtf out. That warning still stands £6 mill cash burn and the early BS is now starting to be found out. Bit late for some but it was obvious to those that put the effort in.

It will be tough spinning new BS to old faces to get more backing.

AGM I gave heavy warnings re them too at £2 plus. They lie.

VRS looked like the pick of the bunch. The big names, China and gov secondees are not in due to liking what they saw on an ADVFN thread. The research concluded that if the big names were to be interested in graphene then VRS was the obvious pick.

What has happened?

I for one didn't see China coming and gov guys seconded.

My advice to bears was as above long ago. They knew best re VRS and would have had huge returns now if they had put the effort in.

Smithy

The AIM is rammed full of companies way way beyond their figures value.

That's how it works, are you new to this?

The most upset folk now are those short. The slow burn corrupt fund raise plan to close out on has gone all to pieces. What we have is an excited bunch of current and new investors. A bunch of guaranteed buyers (those short)

No Legal and General type funds to get stock on loan.

China gov, UK gov and many big names interested is a bit of a clue.

If additional news released tomorrow morning then I think most here agree which direction the share price will go.

If there is no news then I will take a stab at support 158 if some selling & resistance 210 if Mr market likes the deal.
Obviously podcast (lunchtime?) during the day to throw in the mix.

If it stays flat I will eat my hat :o)

Smithy - VRS is pre-profit not pre- revenue and stated company raised funds for asset investment not cash flow.

I agree that VRS is a risk but so are most companies. Size is no guarantee of security: Carillion, Provident Financial etc.

Research is vital for FTSE100 companies as well as small cap. Most investors are invested in VRS because they feel it’s got a great shot at establishing itself at the forefront of a paradigm shift in manufacturing technology with management that can deliver.

I agree that it’s hard to step in at £250m m/c but look at the size of the addressable markets with multiple products rather than current metrics.

IMHO DYOR etc

Having been one of the people who got in early Smithy I do understand your reluctance to take a risk as it is all about protecting your capital in the end. People who got in early can speak with confidence but only because they have lived and breathed VRS for a couple of years .... possibly.

The most difficult thing to accept is that VRS is not your standard AIM company, there are other good ones about I'm sure, but the CEO and team are not wet behind the ears with the vagaries of AIM and the importance of honesty to shareholders.

No II's has become a relief over time as it reduces the possibility of 'smashing' the share price, which would most certainly have happened with the recent fundraise.

One thing that slightly 'bugs' me at the moment is happening behind the scenes with UKgov supplying the support that they have.

The decision to buy or not is always down to the individual, good luck on your choice.
