Agree graphite bot, I don’t think it’s a share to trade but I’m sure a few give it a go

Have fun with learning Korean for counting to 10 and the names of the moves.

Did it with my kids but loved Friday night sparring with the black belts, that was great fun, knackering, painful at times, but fun.

It's a great discipline exercise, if you can get them to indomitable spirit mentality it will be a great foundation for all the troubles life can bring.

I think he was constantly trying to trade his shares to build up his holding very difficult to do with Vrs.spread fees and rising trend. Probably cost him dear. Then he would resort to having little niggles at the company. I never believed he would be at agm.

He will be at the AGM (apparently incognito - so he may not actually be there, and he is 'ahem' leaving before the buffet - even though he is coming all the way from N. Ireland!).

He will begin posting again after that. Question how do we know he was at the AGM - simple I have asked him (on this BB) to answer a question that only those there will be able to answer, and I have provided the question in advance, so he knows what to look / listen for.

Apart from that, his absence has not been missed, up until now - by you.

Best wishes - Spike

He's harped on about seeing everyone at the AGM, but I never thought that was likely.

Not sure why I'm responding it's your first post for 2 years.

It's no the fault of VRS that they are an exciting company and that many investors want a piece of the pie.

The offer was to be open all weekend for all but clearly within and hour or two punters made bids for over £3 mill.

What they could do is the slow version at which point the share price is open to manipulation and you are dealing with moving goalposts.

The easiest way to keep the typically corrupt nomads MMs and funds at bay is a short sharp surprise before they have chance to manipulate the market.

So VRS investors already in should be well pleased on getting a placing price which only a week to two ago was a new high for the share price On top of that we potentially have a new business which in theory will enhance the share price further.

I didn't think they would get anywhere near this price on any fund raise from funds, for reasons already explained.

The reason that has been achieved is because of Primarybid. Without it those in for shares would not get them. Funds would dominate along with the Nomad and crash the share price and discount to where thy want it.

Primarybid is disrupting the fraudulent behaviour of nomads and others. I love it, I missed out too (golf), I don't care.

It also disrupts the plans of those short and now they will clash with other buyers trying to get some.

Some could sell but that will run into buyers and shorts trying to close which are also buyers. For that reason those hoping to trade and perhaps buy back would also run into buyers.

Superg, posted this the other dsy, remembering neill went to this awards ceremony.

“As Welsh Government, we remain absolutely committed to supporting economic growth in Blaenau Gwent and just this week I was pleased to announce that we will be investing £25m in the Tech Valleys project over the next three years in order to accelerate progress of this important programme.”

This is from an article in 2016

Gnanomat will be shortly commercializing graphene/metal oxide materials to
cover low demands (around grams) in the
following months to move to kg along the
next years. In fact, this company will break
one of the major market barriers to allow
nanotech finally break down into the energy field.

picks, shovels, provisions, hookers, booze & the best ore/land/engineers & geologists around - grab it all! - Why settle for less if u can get plenty & fund it by PB on a soaring SP? - But do it quick & often

A virtuous, self sustaining circle?

Is that whats going on here?

Very clever if so

Even Dim Tim can get on board for that one

Tibs et al,
Re - Primary Bid
Let's not forget the placing was - from 5pm Friday to 5pm Sunday.

It is only because the offer was so successful, that the time was shortened, that is not VRS's fault or PB, it is an unavoidable consequence of only needing a minimal dilution.

Would shareholders have preferred an unlimited level of dilution so that everyone can be happy, well I for one wouldn't.

Did I get some this time - hopefully yes (no emails though) only my bank checking and agreeing by text. I was lucky 'cus my bro' texted me - I was out shopping.

Unfortunately I missed the first one as my bank considered PB to be an unrecognised 'entity' (a person) and bounced my debit, and so when I tried a second time - you guessed it. I would have got 10k of shares for bugga all, but no matter - we move on.

For me PB is the best available solution, although far from perfect. If there was a better solution that was fairer to shareholders, you can be absolutely sure Neill would use it.

Best wishes - Spike

I know to piece things together when they are said when it comes to VRS.

I still need to do the battery post with the historic stuff in news and elsewhere. VRS have already had success in the super-capacitor area.

BUT...........on the pay attention to detail bit.

A few here have posted about grapheneCA which is the graphene flagship.

"Professor Andrea C. Ferrari, Science and Technology Officer of the Graphene Flagship, and Chair of its Management Panel,"

You should all know him by now from the Cambridge graphene centre.

A quick search on the flagship and super-capicitors brings up.

'Thales discussed their roadmap to commercialise graphene-based supercapacitors in the next 2-3 years.'

That was April 2018 at 'The Graphene Flagship General Assembly 2018'

Well I know we have mentioned Thales on here so a quick search gives....

Energy: Graphene supercapacitors and batteries, developed by Thales Research and Technology (France), IIT - Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (Italy) and the Cambridge Graphene Centre (UK) which can be printed, have high energy density and rapidly charge and discharge will be used in mobile devices and make high power more portable.

Also in the thread I can see a post about a Thales job advertised last month for a job at Warwick Uni (WMG). VRS are in a collaboration with WMG and have an employee in there.

The Development of Graphene and 2D Material based Super-Capacitors and their Applicability for Battery Hybrid Power Systems

The University of Warwick and Thales UK are seeking a top class candidate to undertake a case studentship at WMG, University of Warwick. You will be based at The University of Warwick, with a work placement at Thales Research and Technology in Palaiseau near Paris, France.

The I can see Thales are with GEIC/UOM and so on.

So on that basis it's not hard to think that there could be s connection between Thales and VRS in the background for super-capacitors.

Perhaps Gnano fills a gap that opens the doors to commercial super-capacitors and other energy storage devices.

I'm off to look up Thales on the topic.

Directors doing a great job. Use of PB imaginative means of avoiding delay and cost whilst trying to pass discount to PIs rather than II. Reason for fund raising is yet another exciting development indicating real imagination and long term planning on part of directors. It would be outrageous to criticise CEO for what is an excellent outcome for all shareholders.

Tibszol. Vrs raised £3m in 2 hours with almost no cost. And it will go primarily to existing PI shareholders. Fantastic for the company... just sour grapes you didn't get any!

Tibzol - The main problem with offering all shareholders equal participation is that it’s a prolonged and administrative process which increases the cost and risks the success of the fund raising when time is pressing.

Primary Bid isn’t perfect as the window of opportunity is small but it got the job done and is probably the first step towards making the company fund raising charade cheaper and levelling the playing field for all shareholders.

Share price will dip on Monday whilst the spivs bank their profits but shouldn’t last long.

I respect NR trying to level the playing field for PIs with IIs and I have been caught out and am annoyed with myself by not having funds in the right place.

You cannot please everyone without going through an expensive shareholder pre-emption rights process, which for 2m shares is not worth it.

Tibzol2 - your disgruntlement at missing out has clearly coloured your judgment of what is best for the company and its shareholders. Personally I think the company has done the right thing. I too have been unable to participate in this weekend's fundraising (because although I do have a registered PB facility in place, specifically to take immediate advantage of such offers in the short time they are typically available, I didn't have any ready cash to do so), but I wont be throwing a strop - neither on my behalf nor on your behalf..

I think you will find yourself heavily outnumbered by those who totally disagree with you. Get over it. ;-)
