OT talking of golf days and rock bands, if I were to get a 'rare' 'T' shirt framed would anyone want it in another charity auction? It is black (with a symbol/design) therefore no autographs and XL (way to big for me) and was given to people who exclusively traveled on U2's jet on tour (can't remember which year off hand).

I'm serious, if no one would want it, I'm not going to get it framed and suffer the humiliation of having to buy it back myself. (It has never been worn).

Cheers in advance - Mike

It's just the US profit-takers getting their 10-20% from buying in the last couple of days. It'll stabilise, and then head on upwards when it's ready.

I sure do hope Diane Carcrashberry is glued to the screen so "she" can close out "her" shorts at a profit! That's the thing about being short...the worry, the anxious anticipation of tracking VRS all day, every day.

Long-term holders can go out for a walk and enjoy the sunshine :)

Auschwitz - what got me most was the endless endless piles of shoes and glasses. It was the only real way for me to get any idea of the scale of the murder / extermination.

Gives me goosebumps now just visualising it.

O/TSpike... Coldplay -love emSaw them in conventry, London and last year in Warsaw. Flew via Krakow and took in the salt mines and Auschwitz. Auschwitz - the scale blew my mind. You don't go there to enjoy but to try to understand what went on. Pleased I went, no desire to go backCraigy

volsung: Aldergrove in the 90s? nope not nearly that long ago, besides they didn't have a problem with carrying bottles in those days.

As happens - improbable though it may seem - a friend of mine was 'responsible' for the large bottle ban.

But that is for another day and probably not on a BB.

Every one run out of things to say - oh well:

OT Last time I was in Belfast, this time with an English band, after the gig ended we got to the airport half hour after all commercial flights had left and I guess security were miffed at being kept late.

It was the day before Christmas eve and a lot of the support crew had been doing Christmas shopping for themselves and the band which was all hand carry. Everyone had to leave their bottles behind (perfume, booz etc), and we were all made to take our shoes and belts off and have them x-rayed! As if we were going to blow up our own private jet, and it's not as if Coldplay are a bunch of weirdo's, as happens their really nice people.

Ho hum - Spike
