Last word on yesterday’s debate about yr hen iath (‘The old tongue’ - Welsh). Having educated our children in the medium of Welsh I have sympathy with DAFAD’s view, yet I know that Spike is right. It’s a lovely melodic language and culture which I would hate to see die, yet it’s a complete waste of scarce resources to duplicate absolutely everything in Welsh.
