When I moved to Wales, I looked into working as the driver on the Great Orme Tramway, which runs by my house. What a great job I thought! But when I applied I was told I had to speak Welsh.I was amazed, why do I need to speak Welsh to English and Japanese tourists? When I further dug into it, not a single current employee on the Tramway could speak Welsh, I didn't pursue it though.I'd rather just watch it glide by these days.Oh... there's one now!

They gave up on bananas in Wales - if it hasn't got a screw top or a pull ring, they can't figure out how to open it.

Tried hitting it with a rock but it went all skwidgy

I've already got my coat on

BTW

Singer

I mentioned they were typically on a 5p spread when Herald have been giving them stock. They had been on a 10p spread all through the 150 to 180 climb. Recently they moved back to 5p and were this morning.

They are now back on a 10p spread.

So it seems to suggest as already indicated by a few it's a normal market with PIs buying and selling.

EG

There are on the bid at 172p and on the offer and 182p. Earlier they were on 170p on the bid and 175p on the offer along with a few other MMs.

Lagoons over taken by RedT vanadium storage economics. In conjunction with Solar whose costs are now effectively zero. The only reason I'm not 100% here is RedT. It's just been chosen as a tool to cease use of Coal in Germany's grid system.I'm running a race to see which stock doubles in value from here.VRS 170, Redt 10 .

Edit: if that funding from Hammond is going to Swansea Uni for funding smart coatings its likely Haydale will benefit as they are part of that consortium.

Good spot, Turbo. Bit hypocritical of 'Spreadsheet Phil' to send Cardiff all this dosh so soon after refusing to back the Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon. If the economics of that had been spread over more of its likely life of 100+years, rather than the formulaic 20 years, financing via electricity prices would have been a breeze. Such a pity, but the project may not yet be dead.Back to VRS. Looks like the seller is still plugging away but not making any progress against the tide of smaller buys. Yesss!

In short:
Grab, I believe that the'board' Neill etal 'have' to inform our nomad of anything newsworthy that may effect the share price good or bad. This, the the nomad considers and may or maynot agree, if agreed an RNS is drafed for sign-off and released asap ...
Normally this process is completed in 24hrs, but can be quicker or way slower.
Hence the danger of loose tongues and a few people getting the heads up during the process ...

What is the precise pathway by which a price sensitive rns arrives? Who is privy to its content at what stage?

It is drawn up by whom, which individual, in consultation with which other individuals, and how quickly does it get from there to wherever it needs to get for public announcement? Where does it sit, in between being drafted/finalised and the moment of publication? (Is it encrypted along the way?). How many people in total are privy to its content ahead of the moment of publication?

Talking of Wales, this was published a few days ago

"Swansea receives £36 million UK government funding for its clean energy tech breakthrough

The Chancellor, Philip Hammond, is announcing new £36 million UK government funding for clean energy innovation in the construction sector through the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.

The funding will go to a consortium led by Swansea University, which develops new building materials and coatings which generate electricity from light and heat.

This energy can be used to power homes, hospitals and schools, or be sold back to the national grid."

I wonder what coatings are being looked at, and if they might be looking to use use products from VRS in their formulation...

anotherdrink - Agree with your point but what shall I say regarding "anticipation" because nobody can anticipate news except if he/she has inside information ? To me it was shall I say, an extrapolation of the news trend ...
Regarding Wales, I really like their lamb chops !
