Fest - sometimes it’s just a matter of timing. If only one MM is bidding or offering a share in any decent size and someone else is quoting the same way as you, if they are a few seconds ahead of you, they freeze the size available for 30 seconds or so or until they deal and you are locked out until then.

Only one scenario of course......

Fest, yes level 2 watch it like a hawk. Supply had gone as buying price inside the spread was rising on each small trade.
With over 10 years of watching L2 you get a feel for the market in individual stocks.

Well in that case SuperG, it's evidenced by the big late reported sells, just coming through now as I expected.They got taken up though, because don't forget, they'd take loads of mine just before the bell.

I take it the share price had dropped to where the buyer was willing to get active. Perhaps taken off during the rise as a wait and see.

Cantor were the one on the bid, they picked up small amounts so the bid dropped and they undercut on the offer as they seek to flip the few late sells.

So they have very little for Monday morning.

Yes, and suddenly, it's gone from being able to sell ZERO, to sell 35k at 155.3pSo, as I said, temporarily someone stuffed them with shares they couldn't digest.I await the late reported red number.
