28/8/2018 16:55 | Don't worry. It's when the disciples of versarien's beliefs are tested with facts. Glad to see another who has experienced the same as I on the forum. Just shows what people are really like as there is no backlash for saying anything. Interesting though for me as I enjoy the psychological study of them. Helps make money when you know what kind of people are about. | ![]() 1teepee

28/8/2018 16:26 | Elliss, but that's all Teepee was getting at in my opinion.I couldn't understand the vehement reaction to his question, unjustified I thought.I got a similar reaction when I raised the issue of storage and transportation of Nanene. To this day I have only got a partial answer, and that was from Mr Ricketts.I was loathe to disturb him, but it became necessary.I haven't done it since. | ![]() festario
28/8/2018 16:17 | There is no argument here. The company advised they believe nanene will meet the iso standards as proposed - interims 30nov17. In latest poddy neill advised other firms are seeking to simply the iso standards, but as it stands as proposed and if adopted, only a few will qualify and meet them. That position is good enough for me. Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj

28/8/2018 16:11 | The ISO Standard published last September merely set out the vocabulary, detailing which words should be applied to which specification, so everyone can use the same language.. However, that did allow Versarien to point to which of those material specifications their own graphene belongs. Many of the other makers, knowing that they don't measure up to the highest grades, and whose material won't even qualify as graphene, have presumably been armtwisting to try and get the eventual full standard watered down, which might explain why it is taking so long to get the standard published, let alone get on with establishing certification teams. Which is perhaps why the UK and the USA are both setting up their own validation facilities ahead of the ISO standard which - by the sound of it - won't appear till next year. Customers are banging at the door. I am guessing that some of the individuals involved in confirming compliance with these interim US and UK standards are the same individuals who will eventually be employed in confirming compliance with the finalised ISO standard. I just hope there isn't too great a disparity between interim validations in the US, the UK, and China - and the eventual ISO standard. Too many industries (and sports) have been blighted by contradictory standards set up by multiple bodies. | rockraven

28/8/2018 16:03 | Just a point TS are one that I think may get in on the ISO but only on one of their GNP products which is premium. As point out some smash them all to bits to get to few layer. TS premium is a range of .5um to 1 um. The VRS range is up to 10 um lateral. TS premium falling outside the under 10 layer rule is about 20%. However that premium grade didn't fit the CPI spec as I recall. As I keep saying some can get to under 10 layer but they end up destroying the lateral size and causing damage to platelets. | ![]() superg1
