We all have an eye on SODS LAW. Please remember that it is not called Sods Hypothesis. Nothing has happened to disqualify it. Certainly not the failure of the Genoa motorway viaduct or the assassination of President Kennedy

The confidence shown in the future for VRS worries me from my past experience of losing the whole pot five times during 30 years of investing: three times from complete frauds (Globo, BioProgress/Meldex,and another; once from hubris after making £2m during year 2000/1,(I believed that I could fly) and once in 2018 from the IMM phase 3 trial whereby EVERYONE, including the honest researcher Dr.Sylvaine Muller and the company chairman deceived themselves as well as their investors about the certainty of a successful outcome.

Remember also not just the unknowns but the unknown unknowns. I don't want to begin to list the possible sources or agents of failure, but is it really IMPOSSIBLE that you could lose it all? If not I suggest you re-consider balancing as I am reluctantly forcing myself to keep to. This does not preclude a strategy in which you increase the percentage VRS holding as the successes begin to come through and the unknowns fail to materialise.

quite right Fest - GET THE BLOODY THING OPEN indeed :)

Spike - thanks again. I would have loved to do the golf day (and I was so excited when I first saw the announcement) - not just to meet Neil and co but also you guys. Unfortunately we work in couples at work and my partner is on holiday for the first two weeks of September. It's near impossible for me to take the day off. Next time! I look forward to hearing everyone's take aways from it.

While we're at it, VRS is 95% of my portfolio, all on ISAs with no more space left. I do however have some spare cash and waiting for the first sizeable Nanene order (or Graphinks for that matter) to add to my position.

Btw just put the baby to sleep. Not long to go for 7am now ;)

And there was me thinking my current 45% weighting of VRS was adventurous / foolhardy. I had never previously had more than 25% in one share but I must say, I sleep very easily at the 45% mark and am tempted to push it up to 50% today if there is no RNS. I see VRS as a potential route out of my hideously boring office job and on to a wifi connected beach.

I'm not 100% in but my 9k investment 3 years ago is now worth 70k and I'm nowhere ready to cash in. I see this going at least 5x again

Eel Tamer,

"I am also over 70% VRS but I can’t sleep a wink because I’m too bloody excited..."

Unfortunately I can only vote for you once. This really is the most exciting share I've ever been invested in and I totally agree with you.

As nice as you seem to be get to the back of the queue. Although of course with you being being a lady I'd have to give in to the etiquette hammered into me. It's in my DNA anyway.

Just for the record I get distracted by various research but I'm loving your arrival here and contributions which help many understand how the market works and at times how utterly corrupt it is.

I half wish the FCA would accept some free help on dealing with the trash on the AIM. It's been so complacent for years that in many cases it would be easy to take a few down.

Hey ho perhaps one day when VRS are not so busy a few keen guys can discuss it with AIM bosses, all for the greater good.

It's a case of getting the support to give the first domino a nudge.

Trouble is what would be left on the AIM.

I have just read about ten people claiming how well they can sleep with VRS as 70% or above of their portfolio.I am also over 70% VRS but I can't sleep a wink because I'm too bloody excited...

I am all in 5 figure share holder, maxed out on any spare £ I could muster at short notice as I only came across VRS by chance mid July, unlike others here I am quite the novice but have a nose for £ and am quite happy to read between the lines and hang onto the coat tails, have a couple of other non SM projects on the go that have been started otherwise I would be more than happy to plough more cash into VRS. Thank you to the guys here that have taken the time to share their knowledge, you know who u are

Lucky - I’m with you, no need for IIs yet and if their deep pockets are needed, VRS will have moved on considerably by then.

Some are asking why Arden haven’t got IIs all over VRS and I was trying to explain why ( probably not very well!). IMO appointing Arden is insurance- sound preparation for the moment should you need the capital markets.

Looks like the VRS crew are out celebrating tonight, judging by comments on Twitter... looking forward to 7.00am tomorrow! GLA.

Well I have to say it was the TW website I have to thank for spotting Versarien ..Not for any content or investing advice, indeed there was just a one liner in news about an over subscribed placing for VRS in March last year which caught my eye .

I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey so far ; if we look at the development and quantity of work and relationships NR has achieved it is truly remarkable
( just reviewed 2017 RNSs!)

Should be enough left between us Fest for a big enough tent.

It's all about whether the market wants graphene. If you search big name websites you won't find it very often.

However search in the right places and the big names are everywhere.

In fact one guy from a huge name calls one 'graphene' (not in the uk) company a fraud.
