A question for you Festario, low volume yet they will take that many, would that suggest one of the large background buyers?

Axoytyl, no that's a terrible price, I was pointing out that they'd take that many shares, it was unbelievable.Plus, they'd give me full bid for 100k

Yup Grabster - the C ion capacitor may be a tech advance but it is the quick charging device/vehicle battery and that process which is the real interest - all info missing on that one

Fes - I don't see how 107p is a very decent price (for you).

Any chance of a brown-envelope deal? I could be tempted.

Thankyou i presumed it meant there was a demand for the shares but wanted to check ..

Hattie, it means, that the brokers are willing to take shedloads more shares than usual, and at a very decent price.Usually if I do a test sell of 50k shares, I'd say 75% of the time my broker's platform says 'no firm price'But at the moment, they'll take 4 times that amount.Demand is there.

Pairing a (slow charging) batterypack and (fast charging) supercapacitor is nothing new - it's been in use in buses for several years. Energy harvested from regenerative braking as the bus approaches each stop is briefly held by a supercapacitor and used to provide acceleration as the bus pulls away - while the main battery escapes the heavy demand that acceleration from standstill would impose, allowing its charge to last longer.

I too am interested in seeing more detail about how Zap&go enhances this arrangement - which I understand it does.

PS: As well as packages that utilise braking, there are buses that charge the supercapacitor via overhead contacts at each bus stop These too have been around 7-8 years.

Strangest limits I've seen in ages, if not ever.I can sell as follows,50k at 122p100k at 119.7p200k at 107p.I cannot remember ever getting a firm price for 200k shares, not since Oct 2017.

Surely not long now for Graphinks

Chris Jones of Novalia said "For viable marketable applications, the materials need to be cost effective, easy to handle and show consistent performance. We ran these inks on ordinary industrial screen printing equipment without modification and achieved consistent results, printing hundreds of interactive demonstrators for Mobile World Congress. This is a very exciting point -- a critical juncture between the laboratory and the public."

Run the Joules - it’s not the device that is recharged - its the battery in the device that’s being recharged from their new capacitor cell - it is the battery bit that is the mystery

They are keen on talking about recharging the device as well - with no elaboration/clarification - hopefully all the collaboration partners - Williams included - are fully satisfied and have looked beyond the opaque words - one must assume they have

Glad to see I’m not the only one feeling a bit short changed re the tech info out on this one

Maybe one for Neil on Twitter - we are in collaboration with them as well after all

The links to lifuntech.com for the English page come up with a 404 error for me. Anyone else having the same problem?

'It will most likely need a static battery (VRS ;0) that 'trickle' charges when power is cheap (overnight), that can then release its charge into the vehicle.'

Or more likely during the day when the sun is shinning on those nanene-enhanced solar panels...

'This is made possible by a fresh approach to energy storage. First removing all the lithium and cobalt, so the we are 100% safe and low-cost. There is nothing in our Carbon-Ion cells that can catch fire, no matter how fast they are charged. This also eliminates that memory effect problem. This occurs when you have used your phone for a while, it still says it is 100% charged, but doesn’t last as long. We have none of that electrochemistry going on that can wear out the battery, so we are good for 100,000+ charge/discharge cycles. But when our cells do need replacing, they can be recycled'

from Zapgo website but I know where your coming from prob best to dig a little deeper into the wording and technical aspect

Spent a bit of time looking at Zap & Go - still questions for me - I get the Carbon ion super capacitor ( they call it a cell) which is meant as a quick re-charging device - but what is it recharging? - If a standard Li battery then the overheating issue of very fast re-charging surely must still exist? - Have they really patented an adaption that solves the Li charging problem? - Or is it an Carbon Ion battery that they have invented as well as the capacitor?

Someone on this BB must know? - If not then there is a mystery here - deliberate to protect IP? - most likely - but perhaps a little caution required before popping the champagne corks

They have promised products in the shop window via the Chinese Collab with this lot - im gonna check them out when i get a mo.

just have to wait and see on this one

Yep a very small initial part of the overall Versarien story. My interest is piqued though. I see they raised £2m last month on a circa £30m valuation. I am trying to get hold of up to date docs re a possible investment so that might give some info regarding where they are now at. If get anything will pass on findings.
