31/7/2018 13:01 | Just wondering:anyone have any thoughts on this? If vrs will be supplying machines to the Chinese to produce nanene under licence, is it possible that they may supply larger manufacturers machines under a similar scheme? As graphene doesn't travel well, and products like the possible continental port tyre are made in Malaysia I assume a master batch would be necessary? Does that travel well and have a decent life span for that kind of journey? Also, is there added value for VRS in producing master batches ..i.e. is there a premium to add to the basic price? | cookiejug
31/7/2018 12:57 | I think we have to remember that we are investing in a 'disruptive' groundbreaking company. Boundaries and guidelines will move as a result. Though frustrating, the end result will be worth waiting for, the rewards for those with patience could be quite literally life changing. 'Knowing what we don't", I'm sure the team are even more frustrated than we are. | woodpeckers
31/7/2018 12:49 | Festario, apart from ISO/TS 80004-13:2017, 'Nanotechnologies - Vocabulary - Part 13: Graphene and related two-dimensional (2D) materials', looks like the ISO standards relating to graphene are at still at the 'under development stage' It is entirely possible that creating an ISO standard for emerging and rapidly changing nano-materials is proving to be a more complex and bigger task that envisaged by Neill at the Investor day. | turbocharge
31/7/2018 12:43 | Fest - possibly we have better options now re. Jinan? | sonsonnyjim
31/7/2018 12:36 | Watching £Opti rush up again while this stagnates - my major regret is not putting more into both at the beginning of my Journey with them though. When you find some good uns no point maintaining a diverse portfolio for safety's sake (I'm looking at you, sch & cct!) | runthejoules

31/7/2018 12:23 | fest we know the Chinese deal just keeps getting bigger and bigger. and we also know iso is very close . it must be grating on Neills conscience that his shareholders are still waiting. Neill is an honourable guy he will be doing all he can to speed things up . but he is an engineer in an accountants /lawyers environment probably feeling very frustrated he cannot do more . | graphite bot
31/7/2018 12:23 | Indeed grabster. On twitter neill said the UK service will result in a certificate. But upon what basis/criteria? So From a laymans and PI point of view, I have discounted the UK service at present ; it appears unreadable. I assume further clarification will follow. By contrast, the US scheme looks likely to follow the proposed iso standards. The best reasons being the us graphene council is a member of the relevant iso standards. So surely their verified producer scheme will therefore be iso compliant ? And appears to be by invite only, ie a selective basis. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis. | ellissj
31/7/2018 12:15 | Lol all you like, but I raised 2 points, not one. Please be so kind as to restate the answers Lucky. | festario

31/7/2018 12:11 | ISO accreditation for Nanene was supposedly imminent back at the time of the Investor Day's.More so because of the fact that VRS were involved in writing it up. Therefore it was in our own hands to a degree.Similarly, before that time, Neill said that there were armies of legal bods, in a room, thrashing out the detail of the Jinan venture, which itself was expected to be producing Nanene in June.So again, I wonder what his hampering the progress of these two enormous milestones? Before you say anything, I'm not deramping, simply wondering aloud and adding a bit of balance to the board today. | festario
31/7/2018 11:59 | ellissj - I agree with your observation (24087) that NR seems to regard the US Graphene Council accreditation as more significant than the assessment by the UK characterisation service. Relatively speaking, his comment on the latter is almost dismissive! I hope that both bodies do strive to at least follow the same hymn sheet, and that in both cases they turn out to be aligned with whatever criteria the ISO eventually prescribe. I would hate to think we might end up with three differing forms of accreditation! Unfortunately that kind of thing does happen when industries are keen to get on. These I think are the consecutive paragraphs you are drawing attention to: "I am also very pleased that The Graphene Council has selected Versarien to be the launch client of its 'Verified Graphene Producer' programme. Accreditation from The Graphene Council will provide our customers with the assurance that Versarien's graphene is of the highest quality and meets relevant standards. "In the UK we attended the recent launch of the new graphene characterisation service being established by the National Physical Laboratory and the National Graphene Institute at the University of Manchester. We also intend using this service, when available, building on our already strong relationships with these organisations." | grabster
31/7/2018 11:50 | Miton you say ? Last day of the month to balance the books ? I see they are probably underwater now in their 3D mine investment RBW Plc. Aimo. Best ellis | ellissj
31/7/2018 11:48 | Nice , once Miton has gone that's it, I know a lot don't like charts but ...... all looks good. | luckyorange
31/7/2018 11:42 | All the charts, except the 1 month one like fine.Higher lows etc...That's only because we've had a lack of news and a large seller. | festario
31/7/2018 11:39 | Oh dear, we've lost Neill. Whatever shall we do? | rainbow23
31/7/2018 11:27 | I didn't see. But V Interesting alfie. More interesting if you said where ;) but you are quite right to keep stumm. All will be revealed no doubt! Glalth. Best ellis | ellissj

31/7/2018 11:05 | Just checked twittet and the location tag seems to have been removed. As this may have been deliberately done I shall refrain from mentioning said location. It may have been a network glitch any how. However, neill disappeared from twitter for 7 or eight hours which, allowing for airport time, would make sense. 2+2=7 ? | alfie4048
31/7/2018 11:02 | Accreditation as a verified graphene producer from the US graphene council is likely the worlds best test until iso standards arrive. In the below rns, neills comments are arranged in 3 paras. Look at the weight he gives the US scheme in para 2, versus the UK 'characterisation service' in para 3. Very telling in my view. Aimo. Best ellis. | ellissj
31/7/2018 10:44 | One of the earlier posts had a location tag at the botton. It then seemed to be turned off for all subsequent posts. | alfie4048
