Successful drilling at Stanley completed

Mosman Oil and Gas Limited (AIM: MSMN) the oil exploration, development and production company, is very pleased to announce the completion of successful drilling operations at the first well of the Stanley Development Drilling Project, located onshore Texas.

Summary

Drilling operations on the Stanley #1 well, onshore Texas, have now been completed. Preliminary analysis of the data acquired whilst drilling, and the wireline log interpretation, indicates that the well has identified multiple pay zones and production casing will be immediately run to the total depth of the well-bore.

Details

Drilling operations on the Stanley #1 well commenced on 19 July 2018, and the well reached the planned total vertical depth of 7,000 feet on 29 July 2018. Hydrocarbon shows were recorded at multiple reservoir levels whilst drilling, and preliminary evaluation of the wireline logs obtained from the well-bore indicates the presence of multiple potential hydrocarbon bearing reservoirs, including the primary target reservoir, being the Wilcox.

Analysis of the drilling and petrophysical data indicates that the well encountered a gross pay section in the primary target reservoir of approximately 19 feet total thickness, with average porosity of approximately 18 percent.

'If this was a 'regular' company without the backing of the unis' I wonder just how many shares would be in issue - over a billion?.....probably. If not for our astute management team, building relationships / networking with the unis and other bodies, we could have been a billion pound company already and shares only worth a fraction of what we hope them to be - I have to pinch myself that we are, where we are, on the cusp of something global with only circa 148 million shares in issue......

Nice to see a paper re microfluidization on the Graphene inks page of Sigma-Aldrich (Merck) on same page as printable Graphene inks. Mr Hodge gets a mention, if it is ours, when clicking on pricing it has only 2 or 3 left (depending on which product)but more on way. Is it ours?

grabster, I agree with you. If this was a 'regular' company without the backing of the unis and the government things may be different butI truly believe these connections open doors and provide the reassurance that big companies need to know that we are not a 'regular' company....

One thing is for sure, we'll know more soon with resukts of collaborations due either imminently or withing 2 months, if companies are happy to go ahead then clearly "enough" verification has been done. Additionally, Neil has saud the whole team are focused on getting a deal done, even describing it as a "pressure", if there was nothing brewing he wouldn't say that, instead he would focus on foundations etc to temper our expectations. Imo anyway
NB I asked Neil if "imminent" meant before the 2 month collabs, no response yet

I think that's more than likely grabster. If by their own testing collabz with vrs, firms spot a competitive advantage, they will surely place orders. And Once one firm places an order, what will their rivals do ? Aimo. Best ellis

The graphene council chief exec says when inviting vrs to test, it will 'Verification to our demanding standards.' Iso or equivalent ? How else can you read it ? How many firms will meet their demanding standards? We know vrs has said +nanene meets iso standards. Depends how quickly the usa wants to move, but they could be ahead of the game here, albeit with vrs on board. Speculating. Aimo. Best ellis

I don't believe that those corporations who are keen to get ahead of rivals are going to hold back (and risk being beaten to it) awaiting ISO certification of compliance with an ISO standard that doesn't yet exist.

The technology for establishing the nature of graphene exists. Prospective customers with enough muscle (Unilever, Dow/Dupont, IAI, GE Aviation, Continental, et al) will find ways of independently obtaining proof without certificates.

Pay, i posted that interview yesterday, thinking it was done nov last year, but then realised the link to it says '2015 jul'! So if correct, the top cheeses estimate of 3-5 years was from 3 years ago. But what we know is that the iso standards are currently under a review process. Meanwhile, The uk npl 'characterisation service' will be testing and certifying graphene, but to what standard and how visible will the results be to the outside world ie PI's for example? While the usa graphene council has asked vrs along as the inaugral launch company to have +nanene tested as part of their graphene 'verified producer' scheme, which looks likely to be to iso standards. I am invested and have faith in vrs but people have freedom of speech in the uk and people also have the freedom to filter who you don't want to listen to. We are all adults after all , please behave!
