TC - that link (your post 24112) may be old (2009), but it certainly helps explain why the global ISO for graphene et al has been taking so long!

Lazy I may be, but I fear your barbed answer to my questions is because you do not know the answers, so it's easier to dismiss.A little like when I raised the issue of storage and transportation. No one on here knew. The last thing I wanted to do was pester the CEO on Twitter, way too many of you doing that.I often mistake this board for a discussion board, more fool me.

Festario, you are a lazy investor and lucky that you can hang on to others coat tails, read very little do next to no research, moan about twitter and yet if you read it and what is said you would know the answers that you crave.

You have done very well with your approach and don't begrudge it you, however DYOR for once.

ISO TC 229 Nanotechnology Standards Group at ISO is developing 'a set of peer reviewed standards for graphene and closely related materials that will facilitate the ability of producers and users of these materials to have confidence in the level of performance on a consistent and measurable basis.' They have virtual meetings once a month. So having stuff peer reviewed can be time consuming.

And, for VRS shareholders of a nervous disposition, you may find it comforting to be reminded of Neill's comment in one of his podcasts, "we haven't even scratched the surface yet"

And don't forget VRS

- is operating in one of the fastest growing sectors
- has the most amazing connections in UK government, Mancester Univ, Cambridge Univ, catapult partners, Innovate UK
- CEO is the biggest shareholder, and his agenda is aligned to that of the shareholders
- commands global interest: China USA, Israel, India, South Korea, Japan

I also suspect that politicking has been slowing down the introduction of the ISO standards with lobbying from the makers of inferior product. Hopefully ISO have looked at the evidence and set benchmarks accordingly, although no doubt there will be different grades within the overall standard.

Frustrating, but I have every confidence we are moving forwards and it will all come together sometime soon.

Cheek - and we all know what happened after the last time it cooled off a bit... ;)

Patience people, patience. If you think you can build a billion pound business overnight you shouldn't have your money invested anywhere, let alone AIM.

We're here because VRS are at the forefront of one of the highest growth & most exciting sectors that will come before us in the years ahead. Anyone who has done the slightest bit of research here will know we're in an extremely comfortable position right now. I stick by what I've said many times. Year end we'll be £2-3, minimum.

Quick lunchtime scan through this mornings posts - a few points

a) Neil just learned to remove Twitter locator after being caught out over accidental Continental NDA disclosure by Curtain twitcher - He is human after all re the odd error!

b) VRS have a leading foot in both UK & US camps re writing up standards - Great stuff & dual results will likely match & almost certainly be adopted world wide - Not bad for a baby UK Co.

c) extent of Nanene masterbatch compatibility works & range unknown at this time - Unless someone knows different? - specifically interested in Carbon black (tyres) & Graphene Combo composites at this time - Not much online about this re progress and benefits - But very promising area & possibly already cracked re new Port plus tyre range?

If you missed RPT RNS - you could say its a stormer - up 50% now...
Increased P1 reseves by around 1500%!!!!! Not going to comment on the rest, have a read....

Add to it 40 million USD in the bank
Heading for 4,000 boepd production....

Some comments from twitter below

#RPT A truly gigantic reserves upgrade for O&G holding #RegalPetroleum. About to catch a flight but am totally ecstatic by this news. Totally oustanding. 1P (proved) soar from 1.9mmboe to 27.8mmboe and a further 24 wells. Gobsmacked! investegate.co.uk/regal-petroleu…

Dont waste your time and miss the boat, this is still seriously undervalued.

I may be being over cynical but my feeling is that countries who's producers are making inferior Go may be slowing the process. Why rush through a standard you cannot match?

My view is the uk service was always planned for and is being rolled out before geic opens later this year. So all on track in that regard. Howver, the us scheme announcement, alongside the uk's, could also be a sign iso announcement is imminent. Ie putting facilities in place to arrange testing to the iso standard ? Against that, is that the uk service testing criteria is unclear as yet. Either way, with vrs invited to test nanene in the US in august, we are 'sitting pretty' and if successful the likely de facto world leader. Aimo. Best ellis.

Previous top up was supposed to be the last but I just had to add some more at these prices I don't know whether we're going to see much lower than that but we will see much higher. So that's it I'm done I unfortunately can't afford to add any more for now. Today's shares are going towards my 15+ years core holding! I'm 25yo and that will make I hope a fantastic present for my 40yo future self.
If Versarien delivers on the big promises and manages to take even only a fraction of the future world market for 2D materials then every pound invested today will be worth many many multiples in 5+ years. Some people don't really understand how BIG the market for HIGH QUALITY GRAPHENE will be: polymer composites for aerospace and automotive, ultra-fast charging batteries, enhanced solar cells, photonics, flexible electronics, countless biomedical applications, ultra-sensitive sensors, enhanced tyres, graphene-based electronic devices, carbon capture, spintronics, water purification, etc + all the other applications where other 2D materials like hexotene will provide different advantages!
