All quite with the VRS team as HM Government announces that Mr Hunt our new man at the Foreign Office has had a "great" meeting with the Chinese Government.

Some think that VRS/UK plc are getting nearer to a trade deal but I think there is something else............we shall wait and see.

sonny, we've generally given you the benefit of the doubt.

Most of us want an educated exchange of info and opinions that are honestly felt and expressed.

Your posts have underlying tones which are far from genuine.

If you can't be man enough to post honestly, you will receive no respect from the intelligent posters on this board.

sonny - no he couldn't say it was 'old news', why - because the question he was asked was whether it was the McLaren order in 2016. Whilst it was (as we now know), it was never RNS'd as being McLaren and that fact was never formally acknowledged, so he was not able to comment.

Best wishes - Spike

Those who have been here for some time know that it seems 120-ies is the new 60-ies. We were in 60p range for sometime (Fest wasn't happy then) and now it seems 120p range is the new resting stage before moving further north.

Neill has just tweeted to say website not updated for ages = old news. He goes on to say, that if there had been matket sensitive info' it would have been RNS'd.

Neills answer probably relates to the 'mcclaren' aspect in the questioned posed. Without reference to this BB, he would not be aware of the other speculation. No ramping therefore. Aimo. Best ellis

Sonny - nothing to do with any ramping or Neill. Just something I noticed on the nanene.com website earlier today. The statement could have been there for a while (as pointed out by Jointer). I was really just asking as to whether anyone had any idea how long it had been there and if it was referring to an order we already knew the details of. Tried using the Wayback Internet archive to take a look at the website's history and the statement does look to have been there for some time. So maybe nothing new. Anyway I think the question has been put to bed.

Re my 23939. Sorry, just realised, the interview with graphene council chief was from july 2015. In it, he gave a 3-5 year projection for iso standards to come into force. Either way, what we do know now, is that they have established a 'graphene verified producer' scheme and invited vrs as the inaugral firm to test +nanene. Aimo. Best ellis

How we all feeling, just landed in Barcelona, any news? Something about biggest graphene order ever? Weird for Neil to ramp it if it's from 2016?

I see on Twitter Cynical Bear has beaten me to it. "Neill... isn't that just referring to the £100k order referenced in the September 2016 news report... Why isn't all the recent news on there - last news from Feb 2017!"
Neill replied at 1.39 Good point on the news, we will update.

JakNife makes a valid point and if the buying was just down to PI's the shorting may have had an impact although the PI's in VRS seem to practise stoicism of the ancient Greek kind on the whole

(The school taught that virtue, the highest good, is based on knowledge; the wise live in harmony with the divine Reason (also identified with Fate and Providence) that governs nature)

apart from the fact that Matt is doing the job extremely well that he was employed for (1-24 in six weeks) and there are three buyers who are not PI's in the background. It is a conundrum and probably defies logic to those trying to short it but this type of company does come along occasionally to buck the trend.

A further thought. How often is the Web site updated? I notice that the second paragraph says
"Scalable capabilities of Versarien
Our patent protected manufacturing techniques allow Nanene to be manufactured in large volumes at market leading prices. In 2016, Nanene manufacture has increased 400% to meet customer demand with the ability to continue scaling." In 2016... HAS increased? What about 2018?
As I say just a thought...

Re standards..

The graphene council is US association. It is a 'formal member' of the iso graphene standards. As below.

The standards are as below.

In this interview of last year below EDIT (apologies,
Interview appears to be from july 2015) (1) graphene council chief opines the proposed iso standards could take 3-5 years to come into force. Interviewed last year. EDIT 2015. (Therefore, iso could be iminent, if to 3 year time scale). (2) while the world waits - in the meantime the graphene 'producer council' will meet to work on standards. Nb. It looks like the 'producer council' have formulated their standards since last year and introduced a 'graphene verified producer' scheme, to give confidence to the industry.

Vrs have been invited to be inaugral member graphene council verified producer scheme. (See below). Neill says testing to begin for admission to the scheme in August, per latest podcast.

To my mind, although not specifically mentioned as fact, it looks to me the tests undertaken to become a 'verified producer' will be set against the proposed iso standards. Or equivalent. And be visible to all. If the iso standards indeed take a few years, this verification could be the gold standard (by virtue a selection process by invitiation). If so, my contention is that VRS would be the de facto world lead, if +nanene passes the tests.

Obviously, there are lots of ifs, buts and maybes here, and i'm speculating the outcome i've arrived at. aimo. pls dyor. Best ellis
