30/7/2018 08:01 | Re Neill's visit to Spain, I recall he said he needed to get the meeting in because of upcoming holidays - presumably on the Spanish side. Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
30/7/2018 07:52 | Intended as a positive! Edit: I have no negatives regarding VRS. | mikkydhu
30/7/2018 07:51 | Not at all. Elephant-in-the-room is usually a negative. Like a problem someone is ignoring. Inappropriate phrase methinks. | grabster
30/7/2018 07:45 | Thank you, jointer. Very illuminating. Would you agree that in it VRS is the "elephant in the room"? | mikkydhu
30/7/2018 07:14 | New Graphene Service to Kick-start ‘Miracle Material’ Industry in UK. "Hailed as a 'wonder material', graphene is set to improve the quality of life for many across the globe. Its potential applications include inexpensive water purification systems; greener, more efficient cars and planes; flexible phones and solar cells, and even biomedical applications such as wound healing and cancer treatments. Even Internet of Things technologies are set to benefit from wider graphene use as a result of more effective sensors. In fact, the material is so promising that we don't even know all of its applications yet - much like when GPS, a technology that is now indispensable to modern life, was developed." "By providing reliable, accurate and consistent measurement and assessment of graphene, and giving industry the information it needs to scale up the production and application of the material, this initiative will help to ensure the UK remains a world-leader in the graphene industry. It will also help to foster graphene innovation hubs across the UK by supporting agile, forward-thinking companies like those seen in Silicon Valley, with a similarly stimulating effect on the economy." "As an international economic department, the Department for International Trade is promoting the very best of British expertise in advanced manufacturing. By making an unprecedented commitment to R&D, we will guarantee that British companies are at the forefront of manufacturing and design for years to come, creating global demand as well as British jobs and prosperity." | jointer13
30/7/2018 06:49 | Skylite - you certainly seem passionate about your subject! My interest doesn't extend into the murky world of win-at-all costs professional sport and all of the underhand/suspect wheeling and dealing that goes on behind the scenes. My focus, obviously not aligned with business advantage competitive secrecy strategies either, is in hard evidence quickly being broadcast to the wider world that VRS advanced materials products really do work to significantly enhance everyday goods and can be rapidly commercialised. Based on the recent Results RNS, hopefully we will get some solid existing collaboration updates very soon with a number of meaty orders to follow. | senden11
30/7/2018 06:25 | Divers - no. A few guesses based on a few tenuous possibilities - but nothing more yet as far as I can see. I am still interested to know ;-) | grabster
30/7/2018 05:22 | Divers. I believe I heard Neill mention BS Banco Santander meeting | canalet3
30/7/2018 00:33 | Most of the time I don’t get the opportunity to read all the posts here as I am too busy but: Has it been established why it was imperative that NR had to visit Spain the day before the results were released? Thanks in advance. | diversification
30/7/2018 00:13 | Graphite bot where's that? Pc Joe I do hope it's us involved. | sonsonnyjim
30/7/2018 00:12 | On the market soon - commercially available next few months? - check out the spec for the very new (launched exhibition introduction June 2018) continental “port plus” range The sweet smell of Nanene all over it - fingers crossed... | pcjoe
29/7/2018 23:01 | Neill posted pics of jaguar Land Rover parts that we are supplying. I saw a jaguar I pace today an all electric jaguar. I wonder if we have anything to do with that. | graphite bot
29/7/2018 22:28 | It may be pcjoe, but must admit I do like it in black and white and an order would confirm it. I am very keen for the tyre take up and am hopeful that it is because of the addition of Nanene to the compound as there is plenty of evidence for the material gains in rubber . It will come but I do try to keep my feet on the ground until it does. | luckyorange
29/7/2018 22:08 | Thank you grabster | willoicc
29/7/2018 21:53 | Evens now for me re first major commercial order - between flexenable and continental No other obvious runners at this time - unless anyone knows different?....... | pcjoe

29/7/2018 21:32 | Not convinced it was "certainly Continental". As of the investors meet I was told they had not yet tested so that was not they who tested in August. | dgduncan
29/7/2018 21:13 | Got a reply from Matt, basically an employee now tbh. Just spreading some good feeling to counteract the poison of Twitter shorters | sonsonnyjim
29/7/2018 21:00 | Mistake on my part, amended, he's liked my reply so he may respond. I asked if we'd hear about the letter soon.. | sonsonnyjim
29/7/2018 20:58 | Sonsonnyjim you sent message to Neil that you couldn’t wait till Thursday ? What are you expecting ? | graphite bot
29/7/2018 20:57 | Lucky orange - something important missed here - Neil gave too much away in podcast re NDA on August 2017 re the tyre maker - it is obvious from curtains Twitter check that the tyre supplier was continental - naughty CEO! That August 2017 podcast referred to samples being sent for testing - almost certainly to continental after such a “mind blowing” and great meeting - that supply ties quite well with the timescale for forthcoming port range commercial tyre launch The April 2018 rns is a little naughty @ possibly designed to redress the disclosure error - look at the wording again - it specifically refers to “initial” To me that all reads that seperate samples have been issued - an rns is or should be a very literally drafted document A continental tyre deal for their port range now looking very likely to me The automotive tyre deal to follow hopefully | pcjoe |
