Graham Stuart currently serves as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for International Trade. A role related to that of Matt Walker (Head of Outward Direct Investment at the same DIT and officially seconded to Versarien). | ![]() grabster

Yes the share price could fly up as the herd fly in and take it there, it's a supply demand game on a share price. So don't try to kid anyone that Pragraf have anything near term, it's CVD based graphene and details include claims that can't possibly be true. There is no way they have tested all CVD graphene available worldwide to conclude theirs is the best in the world. | ![]() superg1

16/7/2018 16:24 | Scrutable NR didn't work through a minefield looking for it. He had no interest in graphene, it took the UOM to contact him and insist he had a look re a breakthrough. I asked the question when they happened to drop on the lead re ink out there. NR and co were seen as a good team to exploit genuine Uni tech and make something of it. We can all see now the Universities made a good choice. We all know they saying about brilliant ideas in the wrong hands. | ![]() superg1

16/7/2018 16:08 | I decided to devote as long as it takes to understand world competition in the Graphene field and ended up with a headache. There seem to be dozens of plausible methods from exfoliation by high pressure water to mixing it with various other materials before Vapour Deposition on a sheet of copper then sublimating the non graphene parts of the mixture with heat. MIT are attempting roll to roll methods. Those who have so far not read it should look at the Les Johnson and Joseph Meaney book of which the following interview gives a taste: hxxps://www.theverge I wonder how Neill found his way through this minefield of possible choices.. It does seem to me that at any moment someone else will come up with a better process and be overtaken even as they try to promote it. I can imagine that the newly established Graphene institutes will be trying a multiplicity of different methods side by side although as in the classical case of tape recorders first mover advantage by Sony Betamax was lost to the second mover Panasonic who once established mopped up all the ensuing trade before a third party could get going. 'Mating' in early days with Matt (incubation courtesy of the UK Gov) will hopefully breed a lusty infant at Versarien and suffocate succeeding births at an early age. | ![]() scrutable

16/7/2018 15:43 | Re copper foam and hexotene, i've always fancied a hybrid of the 2 could be a thermal gamechanger. If the hexotene could be introduced into the copper foam during the manufacturing process, then i imagine the thermal gain could be huge. Benefits are 2 fold for vrs. We hold patents and knowhow for both these products. And further know how if such a hybrid could be achieved. We know neill loves derisking and i imagine a hybrid such as these would be unique to vrs. Secondly, we have lots of customer engagement already on record with copper foam. Imagine saying to such an old client ;'remember the copper foam that gave 15% thermal gain versus conventional ? We now have a hybrid product that does 150% !' I would think customer reaction might be different in such circs ! Forgive the blue sky thinking. It's hot and sunny, mad dogs and all that ! Just idle speculation lol. Aimo. Best ellis | ellissj
