You're asking the wrong questions though Dreamy, growth stocks look to the future not the past. Everything is coming together very nicely and faster than I expected. We do not know how much has been sold but we do know that VRS do not give anything away for free and there is plenty of collaborations on going and they are just the ones we know about.Dreamy is hoping to trash the share to allow him to get out before results and to attempt to reduce his humongous losses after going short at 60p following advice from tradeyodha (he will deny this like all failing shorters but I'm sure that others here will confirm that this is the truth and was announced by dreamy himself at 60p)

elliss - well graphene can do everything else so solving climate change should be a doddle ;-) graphene filters to scrub CO2 out of the air? Who knows, we live in science-fiction times...

My wish for vrs is that via 2D products a 'tech solution' has been found to the problems of climate change, particle/NO2 gases air pollution plus plastic pollution. Keeps me invested. Aimo. Glalth. Best ellis.

And why you shouldn’t very dismal write up.

Shares are up 115.8 per cent this year as investors have high hopes. But any unexpected hurdles in the commercial application of Nanene could cause a fall.

just remind me how many grams of graphene/nanene has versarien sold to have a market cap of 193million ?

total carbine is the only department of versarien to have any revenue, numbers will be interesting ? ? ?

goverment mentors do not come cheap, ceo sells stock before the eoy results,

expect a flurry of rns with projections, but if any revenue from those collaborations will not be implemented until next years financials

off topic 25wbh,alba has fantastic world class grades of graphite/illimite,blue jay are the forerunners in my portfolio, with the green revolution i have been building healthy positions with copper,mtr/gwmo/rock/ars.

25wbh........atb......chat soon......on pest control......its like the battle of britain here

Paul mat will be with VRS exclusively for the next 12 months regardless. Don't listen to old dreamy. Shorter are getting desperate. See the RNS below.Versarien PLC Appointment of senior DIT secondeeSource: RNS Non-RegulatoryTIDMVRSVersarien PLC22 May 2018Versarien plc("Versarien" or the "Company")Appointment of senior DIT secondeeVersarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that Matt Walker, Head of Outward Direct Investment at the UK Government's Department for International Trade ("DIT") has joined Versarien on a secondment for a minimum of 12 months. During this period he will work exclusively for Versarien and will be Head of International Strategy and Government Relations.Since the DIT's creation on 13 July 2016, the Secretary of State for International Trade has been clear that the DIT should support UK businesses with their overseas investments and has named this as one of the department's priorities. A key reason for this is because academic research suggests that companies who invest and/or export overseas are more profitable. More profitable UK companies are, therefore, extremely valuable to improving and benefitting the overall UK economy. The DIT has recognised that Versarien is increasing its activities in international markets and that in order for Versarien to fulfil its ambitions in these markets and to ensure that it creates a robust and sustainable international investment strategy, it would benefit from further UK Government support, alongside private sector support. The DIT therefore agreed to the secondment of Matt Walker to help progress Versarien's overseas investment ambitions, ensuring Versarien benefits from UK Government connectivity and UK Government benefits from the knowledge gained through seconding a senior resource into the private sector.Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Matt Walker to Versarien. Matt will be key to ensuring the successful continued international expansion of Versarien and maintaining our special relationship with the UK Government."I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Department for International Trade for their continued support and in particular their faith in Versarien through seconding such a senior resource."The inclusion of Matt in our growing team enables us to focus on our plans for the international expansion of the Nanene Brand in multiple locations and regions, whilst still focussing on our current collaborations, which are progressing well, and additional projects we are discussing."

Each and every one of the team will have contributed to the whole, I would particularly like to know what Matt Walker and David Kerr have been up to recently. We know Matt is pushing VRS in a GB context to other countries, not quite sure about Davids role but would think that he is following up leads in particular areas ... could be wrong.

Don't know how you know about the buyers Superg but thanks for the info, will take it as stated.

and to think not so long ago that NR was managing the whole lot on his own and now 3 or 4 others taken on to manage the workload, I suspect they are all very very busy and wonder how NR got through it all!

Another couple of points, we have received government grants a positive.
AAC may have been slightly affected by the car slowdown but Carbide could be better due to the oil price and aerospace.
We will see. Looking forward to the results.

I do not know what the results hold it I am more interested in the forward looking statements.
We have additional staff all with the expertise to make VRS a mega company and you need to pay good money for exceptional people. Having said that, our FD keeps a close eye on expenditure.
We have an office in the US, I would like to know more about how successful it has been. It has certainly saved a few long haul flights for the team and made VRS known over there.
The China negotiations, lawyers and Matt will also have cost but this is necessary, VRS need the expertise to grow.
The inks side looks very exciting and hopefully we will be obtaining orders shortly.
To be honest, I have not got a clue what Neill will present. I am just very excited about this brilliant company who have the technology and expertise to deliver for all shareholders.
If we break even, that is a result for me, it's all about the future.

Morning all, can anyone help/care to comment...
Question - is Matt Walker appointment/secondment on a fixed term arrangement? Or until the China deals happen? Is he on a consultancy arrangement? Or a paid VRS employee?
Apologies if this has already been covered.
